"Since that’s the case, there’s nothing more to say." He lowered his face and slowly stood up. His tall stature and cold, stern expression instantly diminished Jian Panying’s montum, which she hadn’t noticed when they were both seated.
Since they couldn’t reach an agreent, there was no need for him to show her any courtesy.
Besides, even Jian Anning herself had said she didn’t get along well with her mother. At most, she’d notify her about the wedding with Yu Zexiao, and whether she attended or not was up to her.
He thought that now he completely understood Jian Anning’s feelings. If his mother had been like that in the past, Jian Anning might have made an even bigger scene!
"What do you an by that?" Jian Panying saw the arrogant and indifferent look on Yu Zexiao’s face and it set her heart ablaze with anger!
"Nothing." Yu Jingxi turned his head, hesitating a mont for Shen Lanxiao, and instead of calling the waiter, he swiftly pulled out a few bills from his pocket and slapped them on the table, intending to leave just like that!
Moreover, he really did start to walk away, and Shen Lanxiao quickly caught up, hooking her arm around Yu Jingxi’s. The two of them headed straight towards the door!
Because their table was inside, they had to confront Jian Panying on their way out. Yu Jingxi’s face was devoid of expression, not even a hint of anger. His gaze was steady, making him appear like a mountain.
When he brushed past Jian Panying, she didn’t even react. As he and Shen Lanxiao were about to reach the door, Jian Panying suddenly moved like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, rushing over with an enraged expression: "What are you two doing! Stop right there!"
Jian Panying hadn’t expected that Yu Jingxi, an unheard-of common man, would have such determination!
Yu Jingxi rely glanced at her, then shifted his cold gaze away, heading towards the door without a word!

Due to that step back, Yu Jingxi and Shen Lanxiao had already walked out the main door. Jian Panying paused, just about to rush forward to stop them, but soone beat her to it!
That soone was Cheng Tingting, who had been listening to her mother’s conversation nearby and now ran up to the two of them.
Yu Jingxi had just lifted his leg mid-step when he suddenly pulled it back, his gaze indifferent: "What’s the matter?"
When Cheng Tingting initially heard her mother arguing with Yu Jingxi, she wanted to speak up. But she’d already promised her mother not to get involved in matters concerning Jian Anning. It wasn’t until the two of them walked out the door and the eting was over that she rushed up!
Today, Cheng Tingting wore a slim and appropriate outfit, remaining silent throughout. Although Yu Jingxi didn’t think much better of her, compared to Jian Panying, her recent behavior positioned her as a "caring sister," a considerate daughter in her mother’s eyes. Even though Yu Jingxi frowned when she stopped him, he wouldn’t vent his anger on an innocent person, especially as she was of the younger generation.
Cheng Tingting, however, smiled, sensing that Yu Jingxi was unlike any man she had ever encountered. If she had to compare him to soone, the first person who ca to mind was Situ Xuan!
