His upper lip is slightly thin, with a beautifully defined line in the middle. When he’s not speaking, it’s always curved into a slight smile, as if he’s mocking yet it’s undeniably captivating. But those rebellious lips just so happen to produce the most enchanting music in the world. So many wonderful notes flow miraculously from these lips, like a spring whose trickling streams finally rge into the profound depths of the ocean.
What began as a gentle kiss sohow developed into sothing soft and dense with flavor. He gently reached out his hand, cradling her head, as they drew near, pulled apart, and drew near again. Like a woodpecker, the more they kissed, the more intimate it felt.
A phone call suddenly broke the spell, waking them from their dreamlike state. Jian Anning lowered her head slightly to check and saw that the call was from Shen Lanxiao.
"It’s mom." She said, lowering her head as she answered the call. But on the other end, it wasn’t Shen Lanxiao’s voice, but the explosive sound of Xia Ziyu: "Anning, where have you gone? Is Xingxing with you?"
Only then did Jian Anning rember she was supposed to bring Yu Zexiao back for dinner. She quickly replied, "He’s here, Zexiao is here."
"If he’s there, did you both run off to the Pacific Ocean? Why are you taking so long to co back? Hurry up and return, the food is getting cold!" Xia Ziyu’s voice was loud and energetic, almost overwhelming Jian Anning. Truthfully, she and Yu Zexiao had lingered here too long, while Shen Lanxiao and Xia Ziyu were still waiting at ho!
She had just reminded Yu Zexiao, but he was having too much fun to heed her advice. Not knowing how to respond, Yu Zexiao took the phone from her: "Grandma."
His voice was sweet, and at the sound, the fiery Xia Ziyu imdiately softened: "Xingxing, Grandma made a delicious al for you, hurry back!"
Yu Zexiao started coaxing her imdiately: "Grandma, we’re already on our way ho, we’ll be there very soon. If you’re hungry, you and mom should eat first."
"How can that be? I made lunch especially for you. We’re waiting for you."
After hanging up, Yu Zexiao didn’t dawdle anymore, hastily tidying up, and they both headed back ho.

Upon returning to their villa, Xia Ziyu indeed expressed her displeasure to Jian Anning, her expression slightly dark: "I told you to call Xingxing back for dinner, how did almost an hour pass by?"
Jian Anning felt a bit guilty and imdiately apologized: "Grandma, I’m sorry, it was my fault."
"Grandma, it was my mistake." Yu Zexiao imdiately interjected, "I was just rehearsing earlier, and there was a move I didn’t get quite right. Anning was waiting for on the side. We’re about to start choreographing, so we’ve been trying to make every second count."
"Really? It’s so hard, but you shouldn’t overexert yourself." Xia Ziyu was instantly filled with concern. Yu Zexiao bead, "Grandma, what are you saying, isn’t it natural for n to exert themselves a bit?
