In this tense atmosphere, one day Yu Zexiao returned to his villa.
He didn’t want to live there because his neighbor was Situ Xuan. Just thinking about this bastard spying on his wife-to-be, what man could tolerate that?

She turned her head and sure enough, saw Situ Xuan standing in the shadow of his villa’s doorway, smiling gently as he approached her!
Situ Xuan rushed out of his house as soon as he heard Jian Anning’s voice. After being punched by Yu Zexiao last ti, which caused a ruptured spleen, he stayed in the hospital for a week. While in the hospital, he started planning how to deal with Huanyu Group. When he was discharged, Yu Zexiao and his people had long flown back to Yancheng. He chased after them closely, only to find Yu Zexiao’s villa dark and empty for several days, clearly indicating no one was there!
How could he not know that Yu Zexiao was deliberately avoiding him? The purpose was to keep him from contacting Jian Anning!
Despite not ntioning it, he had been mobilizing and deploying his forces all along. Yet, he stayed in this villa, waiting for the mont Jian Anning would appear!
Seeing her now, even his eyes sparkled with spirit. Although his face remained quite pale, his complexion looked much better.
"You, why are you here?" Jian Anning saw him slowly approaching and couldn’t help but retreat slightly. Although she knew he couldn’t possibly do anything to her in broad daylight, in front of so many people, she still couldn’t help but feel a bit tremulous at the thought of him.
"Anning, I’ve been waiting for you," Situ Xuan approached slowly, his smile unwavering. These days, what kept him going, aside from his loathing for the Yu Family, was her.
Born into a prestigious family like the Situ Family, yet having encountered parental discord and sibling rivalry from a young age, his character beca quite callous. The parental discord only spurred him to find a woman he truly loved.
Now, he finally t soone he liked and was engaged to, only to be snatched away by a man he despised from the Yu Family. The more he thought about it, the more unfair he felt!
But he also knew, the more aggressive he was, perhaps, the less willing Jian Anning would be to be with him. So, if he could drag the Yu Family into an abyss, would taking her away beco easier?
He stepped forward again, and Jian Anning stepped back once more: "Don’t co any closer."
"Why? Didn’t you say before, let’s start over and be friends again?" Just as Jian Anning was about to call for soone, Yu Zexiao suddenly rushed out, his face ashen: "Sothing happened!"
