43: Chapter 44 Scandal (2) 43: Chapter 44 Scandal (2) He pulled open the car door, and the Yu Zexiao who appeared before everyone was still the epito of suave perfection.

Jiang Xuanqi had been waiting in front of the car, and her eyes instantly lit up at the sight of Yu Zexiao stepping out.

Although they were in the sa company, she rarely got to see him.

Zexiao was soone who held himself in high regard and seldom attended various banquets or appeared in advertisents; he basically had zero interaction with his colleagues.

When Jiang Xuanqi ca over, she deliberately turned her face to the side and brushed her bangs back.

She knew that her left profile at a forty-five-degree angle was her most flawless angle, slightly lifting her chin and wearing an expression of gentleness and admiration.

Yu Zexiao erged from the car, wearing large sunglasses, with the setting sun casting a blood-red glow on him from the side.

Clad in white, he stood out from his surroundings, like a figure out of an intricate ink-and-wash painting.

His gaze shifted, gradually landing beside her.

Jiang Xuanqi’s heart skipped a beat.

He’s looking at !

He’s coming over!

He…

But when Yu Zexiao brushed past her, Jiang Xuanqi stiffened.

Looking back, she saw that indeed, as if having noticed nothing, he headed straight for the hotel’s main entrance!

“Zexiao!” Jiang Xuanqi exclaid in surprise, and it was then that Yu Zexiao halted and turned to look at her, “What is it?”

Jiang Xuanqi choked up.

How could she admit that she had been waiting here to get closer to him early in the na of cooperating with the company’s supposed “scandal”?

“Nothing,” Jiang Xuanqi shook her head, “I was just…”

Before she could finish speaking, Yu Zexiao strode off with long steps, leaving Jiang Xuanqi alone at the back!

Jiang Xuanqi’s face turned white and then red.

She had heard rumors of Yu Zexiao being “difficult to approach” and “playing the diva” in private, but she hadn’t expected him to not give her the slightest face!

Having co out especially to greet him, could he really be this dismissive?

However, rembering his noble background and the fact that he hadn’t had a girlfriend in so many years, she regained her confidence!

The more difficult a man was to conquer, the more interested she beca!

After all, Yu Zexiao wasn’t a star who had risen from the grassroots.

A young master of nobility had to have the airs of one!

Moreover, he had previously been focused on making music.

Unlike her, he didn’t have to film one movie after another and keep interacting with actors, directors, producers, and crew mbers.

Such an attitude was what forged the purity of his voice and the beauty of his music.

Maybe that’s why he still had no girlfriend up to this point?

Thinking this, she lifted a warm smile on her face, her gaze becoming cordial and close.

“I’m quite familiar with this place.

Considering Zexiao has never fild here before, I thought you might want to look around and familiarize yourself with the environnt before the seven o’clock welco banquet arranged by the crew, so I waited here.”

Her words couldn’t have been more thoughtful.

This was Yu Zexiao’s first film, and naturally, he hadn’t been to this film city before.

Any ordinary man might have taken a liking to her after hearing such considerate words and possibly developed sothing further.

Unfortunately, Yu Zexiao was not an ordinary man.

Without even thinking, he simply dropped an “I’m busy” and, without paying Jiang Xuanqi any more attention, strode with long legs into the hotel lobby!
