Chapter 891: Chapter 901: Duet (Part 3)

That person assud that Yu Zexiao played the piano well, and Nie Anni was a musical genius. If the two of them perford a four-hand duet, it would be a perfect match!

Nie Anni didn’t mind, but Yu Zexiao’s piano skills, even in the eyes of professionals, were considered good. However, he never let anyone threaten him!

Upon hearing the suggestion, those familiar with him, Yin Maohui and Hong Minjun, felt a jolt of fear, worried that Yu Zexiao might walk away angrily. Unexpectedly, Yu Zexiao rely glanced at the person and didn’t refute. He turned his head and asked, “Mozart’s ‘Piano Duet’, you can play it, right?”

Nie Anni was taken aback, but then nodded, “Yes.”

Yu Zexiao didn’t say much more and turned to step onto the stage!

His straightforwardness, without a trace of difficulty or hesitation, puzzled Yin Maohui and Hong Minjun.

On the stage, a black and a white piano were already prepared. Coincidentally, Yu Zexiao and Nie Anni had dressed to match for tonight’s banquet. With their outfits, as they sat at the contrasting pianos—though unspoken, it had to be admitted that their posture together at the piano was quite fitting.

Mozart’s “Piano Duet” was the only piano duet he composed in his life, written for a friend’s daughter. Its lively lody was very suitable for such a relaxed banquet.

However…

What Yu Zexiao didn’t say was how much he once longed to play it with the girl of his dreams. He practiced the piano tirelessly for this, especially the piano duet.

Once they were ready, Yu Zexiao gave Nie Anni a look, and she understood, starting to play!

The graceful and lively lody began to spread throughout the room.

Although Yu Zexiao led the piece, Nie Anni’s accompanint was even more important! The issue was that while playing the piano, Nie Anni’s usual sharpness was entirely gone; she complented and echoed Yu Zexiao’s piano perfectly, enhancing it in a way that felt both bright and soothing!

Even though he still couldn’t stand Nie Anni, he had to admit.

In piano, in music, her accomplishnts were indeed profound—so much so that when playing the piano, no verbal communication was needed, just total imrsion in the world of music to understand her thoughts!

This feeling left him sowhat perplexed!

Not only him, even Ling Yinuo and Jian Anning in the audience sensed it! She glanced at the two on stage who were in perfect sync, then looked worriedly at Jian Anning: “Does it really not matter? Xingxing rarely cooperates with others; he never learned to be gentle with girls.”

“I trust him.” Jian Anning suppressed a bit of concern, a faint smile on her face.

She had vowed before her father’s grave never to play the piano again. And Yu Zexiao… she had always known how much he hoped to find soone who shared his aspirations at work.

Sharing aspirations at work doesn’t necessarily an they’ll be together. Otherwise, so many companies wouldn’t prohibit “office romances.”

However, there was soone else unhappy with their matching posture at the piano, and that was Jiang Xuanqi, who was completely ignored.
