Sierra did as Myra asked. In her mind, she saw a beautifully decorated ballroom. In the center of it all, was a beautiful grand piano in black. Alistair was seated on the bench. He was dressed in his finest suit and to her surprise, he did not have his mask on.

This was all in her mind, after all, it could be anything she wanted.

"Yeah I think you’re right, I can see it now," Sierra said with a smile.

Myra giggled as she removed her hands from her eyes. As she returned to her seat, she asked Sierra what she had prepared for the Art showcase that was coming up. Most princesses had been practicing and preparing in secret to avoid others from stealing their ideas.

But over the ti they had spent, Myra and Sierra had beco close friends. Despite that, Sierra had not shared what she was doing for the art showcase. It was with good reason.

The showcase was days away and she still wasn’t certain of what to do. Sierra had never had much practice or experience in the arts. Despite her father’s best attempts to train her to resemble a proper lady, this was one area she had not been able to make much progress.

Mastering a weapon was second nature to Sierra, but instrunts were different altogether. No matter how hard and how much ti she put in, she could never get it quite right.

Most of the ti, she simply did not have the patience for it. The sa could be said when it ca to the visual arts.

"What about dancing?" Myra suggested.

She had seen Sierra train with her sword and noticed the movents were similar to that of dancing. Hence she thought it would be a great idea for the art showcase. Sierra sighed as she shook her head.

"I can dance the basic dances for events and festivities but to perform for a large crowd? I don’t think I can," she sighed.

Furthermore, Sierra knew if she wanted to impress, she would have to do an elaborate dance routine. That would take a long ti to practice, they could not afford it.

"I considered my carving skills could be put to good use, " Sierra explained, "But that would take too long to complete too. And I’ve got no inspiration at the mont for anything."

She had hit a wall with ideas and did not know what else to do. There was one skill she had that might just work, however, she wasn’t sure if it would be any good. She had never done it before in front of others.

Just when she thought of a way to change the topic of discussion, Ida brought it to the forefront of their conversation.

"What about singing? You have a beautiful voice, Princess. I’m sure your singing voice would be just as good, if not better even," Ida said.

Sierra glanced over to her maid, wondering if she might have mind-reading powers. If not, how would she have taken the words right out of her mouth? Sierra was still staring at her in disbelief Myra chid in to agree with Ida.

"A beautiful voice is sure to win his heart! Well, that’s if he hasn’t already been won over by you!" Myra teased.

Sierra blushed as she averted her gaze. She bit on her lower lip as she began to consider it as an option. She got up to her feet. Her hands were still folded and she was tapping her arm as she paced around the room.

Ida and Myra waited in silence as Sierra considered her options. They did not understand why she seed so hesitant to do so. She must have had her own reasons.

"You two might be right, perhaps that is my only option," Sierra sighed at the end.

With the limited ti she had left, this was her best option to impress. But what was she going to sing? Sierra sat back down as all of them began to brainstorm it together. Myra had a few musical scores she had kept of her own so she handed them to Sierra to take a closer look.

But Sierra could not understand any of the writing in the scores. Myra volunteered to teach Sierra, but she politely declined. She knew Myra needed ti to practice for her segnt of the showcase too.

"It’s the least I can do to help you after everything you’ve done for , Sierra," Myra pleaded with her while holding onto her hands.

Still, she refused.

While everyone was still trying to convince Sierra to accept Myra’s kindness, Myra ca up with another solution. She rummaged through the scores she had in front of her and picked out the one she was looking for.

"Hear this," she said to Sierra as she placed the scores on the music rack, and stretched her hands and fingers before she began to play.

As the music began to fill the room, Myra explained a little more about the piece. It was a music piece made with the intention for lyrics to be sung along with it. It was an enchanted piece of music, as the singer is allowed to pair it with any lyrics they desired.

Sierra got up to her feet. The music was moving to hear and it soothed her heart. She had never heard anything similar to it before, yet it was invoking feelings and mories of the past. The desire to sing filled her heart.

As she began to hum the tune, the Gerard in her mind continued to churn.

"This might just work," Sierra said with a smile, "Could you play the piece for again, Myra? I want to commit it to mory."

Since then, Sierra began to practice for her art showcase. But, she also took ti to ensure she prepared for the test that would co after the art showcase, archery. At her request, Myra had played the music piece a few more tis so that she could commit the music to her mory.

Now, all she needed to do was to sing what ca from the heart. For that, she would need a little more vocal training. Up till this mont, none of them had heard Sierra sing. Too embarrassed, she refused to do so, even in private when it was just her and Ida.

She wanted to find soplace to practice where no one would find her. So, since that day, Sierra took off from her room to find the perfect place. Eventually, after scouting a few locations, she found the perfect spot.
