The two citizens of Sestia stared at with wide eyes while Roan seed impressed.

"So, you’re exacting a revenge on the royal family because they are the descendants of your Dragon’s murderer." Roan summarised and I smiled.

"No," I corrected.

"I just want to show the people of Sestia that the Dragon that they had been cursing for centuries was a victim all along and that Dragons are not evil."

"But how could you know all of this?" Sir Adler asked, "It happened centuries ago!"

"I saw his mories."

"But it could be a lie."

"It can’t be," Roan said, "Dragons are Gods who live in the celestial realm and they never wanted to do anything with the humans because they know that the humans have a fleeting existence and a greedy heart. So, they chose to be the saviours of the other species and took a special liking to Elves. That’s the reason why the Elves and other species worship the Dragons."

"Dragons had to descend to our world centuries ago when Saintess Miella ivoked them when the gates to the Demon world had opened. They saved this world and after that so remained here to guide the life on earth while the rest returned to the Celestial realm."

"The Dragon in question must be one of them," he said and then looked at , "There is a ntion of the Dragons who decided to stay on earth in the Holy scriptures of the chapel where I was."

"How many stayed?" Lady Dahlia asked.

"Seven of them," he said, "The First one was the Gold Dragon who helped Saintess Miella to seal the gate of the demon world. One of them had the power to influence the flora and fauna it was the Green Dragon, third one was the fiery red Ire Dragon who decided to live in the large volcanic mountain, the fourth one went to a long sleep in the iciest region, the Frost Dragon."

"The fifth one is said to be residing on the tip of the tallest mountain in the world, the Silver Dragon. The sixth one, was an Aqua Dragon who was capable of healing any wounds and purifying the contamination that was left behind after the long war. And the last one was a Black and purple dragon who is probably in a deep sleep sowhere."

"All of these were the Supre Pureblood Dragons who had decided to stay back, I can’t believe your ancestor actually killed one of these Gods. How is your kingdom still standing? It could have been destroyed by the other Dragons by now!" He was bewildered as he looked at us with wide frantic eyes.

Lady Dahlia and Sir Adler exchanged a glance before they looked at .

"Did you receive the blessing from the Dragon who had healing abilities?" Lady Dahlia asked and I nodded.

Roan stared at before he concluded.

"I had no idea that I was serving one of the seven Supre Dragons."

"I’m not one of them," I corrected him.

"You have inherited not only the bloodline of that Supre Dragon but also his will so, that makes you one of them."

I sighed, "I’m not as strong as him, yet."

"What?"

"My powers as a Dragon as still growing, I have received his bloodline and mana and can use it but, my body still isn’t strong enough to embrace it fully. It will take ti till I beco a full-fledged Dragon."

"So, you’re half human and half Dragon?"

"Sothing like that."

"Have you ever t the other Dragons yet?" Roan asked with his eyes glinting.

"No,"

"Will you go see them once you’ve matured as a Dragon?" He asked, I could the expression an eager child would make at the aspect of having a huge gift.

"I might,"

"Will you take too?" He asked.

"I might."

He grinned widely and looked as if he would dance but he controlled his excitent before he stepped ahead and sat on his knees in front of .

"I know it’s a bit late but forgive for calling you an arrogant asshat."

"You called , what?"

He shook his head, "I’ll serve you as your devoted priest from now on."

"You’re not a priest anymore, Roan." I pointed out.

"I will gladly beco one again for a Supre Dragon."

"You’re that thrilled to know of this?" I asked and he nodded.

I almost chuckled, "The other priests would also fall at your feet and worship the ground that you walk on."

"Stop now, you’re embarrassing ." I said and he held my small hand in both of his.

"Mordino was really saved by a Dragon once again." He spoke with a distant expression.

"The history tends to repeat itself." I mumbled.

We settled our conversation there with a warning from that they would have to take this secret to their graves and if they couldn’t then I might send them and all of those who know it from them there instead.

They vowed not to tell anyone and we returned to the cave where the assassins were packing their gre essentials whole the Dark Elves were hovering around Anore.

The turned as they sensed my presence and parted like Red sea exposing Anore who had regained consciousness. He looked a bit pale and weak but he was alive nevertheless.

"Did you have a good sleep?" I asked.

"Is he dead?" He asked instead making shrug my shoulders.

"You’re free." I announced making him stare at for a long mont as if expecting to say sothing else but then he released a deep sigh and slumped his shoulders hiding his face into his palms.

The Dark Elves cheered around him assuring themselves that they wouldn’t have to worry about their ruthless master anymore.

But the question of their future was still unanswered and only one person would decide that.

I faced Anore who was still reveling in the feeling of freedom, he might not have expected it to be so easy and quick.

Enora approached in that mont and said, "We’re ready to leave, Master."

I nodded at her before I looked back at Anore.

"I believe you still have your decision to make, Anore." I prompted.

He turned his head and looked at , his eyes flitted over to his companions who had smiles on their faces and then he turned to again.

"Which contract do I have to sign?" He asked.

"There’s no contract, Anore." Cynthia spoke up, "Great Dragon said that he will take us under his wing and we can live freely as we want, we don’t have to fight or kill and we will also get the respect that we deserve."

Anore’s eyes widened and he looked at as if wanting to confirm her words and I nodded twice making his eyes glisten.

"Make your decision you can co along with us if you want," I said.

"We’ll go." Anore announced making blink in surprise.

"We... are tired of killing people and having our lives on line all the ti. So, we will follow you anywhere you take us, Great Dragon Lord."

I stared at his face which was filled with newfound determination and also the sense of appeal in his eyes as if he didn’t want to go through anymore of the tough tis that he had seen.

I nodded with a small smile, "All right then, gather whatever you have. We’ll be leaving in an hour!" I announced loud enough for everyone to hear.

I was about to go back to check on Drac when Lady Dahlia approached .

"Mi-Master Ocean," I looked at her.

"Yes, My Lady?"

"Is it possible for to go and see my son once before we leave?" She asked and my eyebrows twitched.

"He’s around two hours away from this place, Your Grace." I said and she licked her lips.

"I need to make sure that he’s all right." She said and I looked once at the assassins and the Dark Elves who were busy with packing.

I turned back to her and asked, "You have the invisibility device, right?"

"Yes, here." She plucked it off of her shirt and handed it to .

I put it back on my cloak and looked at Lyall who moved towards .

"I’m leaving for a while, after you’re all done packing hit the road don’t wait for and tell Roan and Sir Adler to wait here with Drac." I instructed him.

"Yes, Master." He bowed slightly and I patted his shoulder gently.

"You did great work taking care of everything here with Enora and others." I said making his eyes to soften.

"I’m glad that I was of use, Master." He replied.

"Hurry back and after your break join my side," I threw a cautious glance at Roan before adding, "I miss having you by my side."

His eyes went wide for a mont before he gave a smile, "I’ll return as soon as I can."

I chuckled before I turned to Lady Dahlia and gestured for her to follow .

"I found it quite strange that he wasn’t by your side at your mansion, so, you had sent him here to assassinate the Monster battalion." Lady Dahlia summarised.

"Yes, my brother and his friends are here on the battlefield and I don’t want them to die so, I had to remove the large threat." I said.

"I’d say the larger threat to them is the Crown Prince of Denril." Lady Dahlia added and I shrugged my shoulders.

"Your son is also here and he’s most likely to encounter the Crown Prince."

She gave a look but I simply stretched my hand to her and she wordlessly placed her hand in mine.

"Pardon ," I spoke as I gently tugged her over to before scooping her up in my arms.

"It feels weird being carried by you like this when I know you’re a child." She comnted and I flapped my wings simultaneously activating the invisibility device.

"No comnts."
