Doctor announced and Lyall looked once at the three then at before asking.
"Who are they then?"
Just as Lyall asked I moved noticing sothing jumping over Lyall from the torn ceiling, I kicked the falling rubble and the person away before landing for a split second and then making a dash to grab the intruder.
Just as I grabbed him, I felt a blade over my throat making almost roll my eyes. I gripped the arms of the person underneath behind his back while keeping his chest pressed against the ground.
"Let all of them go, right now!" The voice commanded from near my ear as we faced my team.
Lyall looked at while I applied pressure of my knee which was dug in between the intruder’s shoulder blades making him cry out.
"Let go of him!" The voice near my ear commanded .
"Who are you?" Lyall asked instead patting off the dust that ended on his shoulders and hood.
"Silence, fiend! Release my n right now or I’ll kill him."
Lyall’s eyes t mine and I sighed twisting the arms of the man below making him wail.
"Stop that!" The man shouted near my ear.
"You didn’t answer my question," Lyall spoke up again as he watched us with a relaxed posture.
My team of four stood quietly with their weapons in hands watching us quietly, they wouldn’t move without orders.
"I’m not obliged to answer you, you all are going to die anyways." The man said.
Lyall eyed us quietly before sighing.
"For now, you have to decide whether you want to live or die."
"Do you not see your man under my knife right now? There are more of my n outside, if you dared to do anything you will be killed right here." The man asked clearly unaware of the danger.
"Ma-" Lyall cleared his throat stopping imdiately as he almost called Master out of habit.
"On my word your arm will go flying along with your head, so it’s better if you peacefully talk with us."
"Talk big all you want-"
"Too much talking." I mumbled and the tip of the knife pressed against my skin.
"You be quiet and release my man right now!"
I sighed as this was stretching out and I hated stretching things or situations more than they should go.
"Fine then, don’t cry." I spoke.
I moved my hand a little and I heard the sound of popping instantly hearing a scream before I gripped the blade of the knife over my neck and with a little force snapped it in half.
I didn’t give him ti to react as I whirled around and gripped his throat and slamd his back in the wall.
He released a choked breath as he clawed at my wrist while I lifted him off the ground making his feet flail.
The other man lay on the ground writhing as before I broke the knife I had dislocated his shoulder.
"You... Let go!" The man whom I was choking grunted and I stared at him coldly.
"You were given a choice of peaceful talk but you decided to throw away that offer." I spoke.
He tried to kick but it didn’t work as I clamped down my palm over his windpipe making him choke and wheeze. His eyes started to grow watery and face was flushed.
"Stop!" I heard a groan from behind and I turned to see the man on the ground getting to his foot.
The Sniper moved ahead and kicked that man down while I turned my attention back to the person I was choking.
"I can ease your pain by breaking your neck, a quick and painless death but, if you are willing to talk then I will spare you. Decide, what it is. You have three minutes to survive." I announced.
The man made his choice and after a few minutes he was sitting down on the ground gulping down water. Lyall sat in front of him on a large brick and the four of my team mbers stood behind him and I stood leaning against the wall.
"I don’t know who you all are, but even if you managed to intimidate us, you can’t win against that Beast."
"By Beast, do you an..." Lyall let the question hang in the air and the man nodded.
"And who are you?"
"It’s dangerous to talk here, but since I can’t trust your lot so, I would like to keep it brief." The man said and I rolled my eyes.
"Didn’t you say there were more n outside?"
"There are, but we don’t attack mindlessly."
"I’m here on command of our Master, you can refer as Swordsman." Lyall introduced himself.
"My na is Hael." The man said and then his eyes road over my team before finding a ho on .
"Are you only this much?" He asked.
"We are only here for the groundwork, our Master will take care of the rest on his own."
"On his own? What is he God?" Hael snorted.
"In a sense, he is." Lyall nodded.
Why did everyone refer to as God? I was more human than any other or rather a Dragon.
Hael stared at Lyall for a mont before he sighed.
"You are all wasting ti, there’s no way soone like you or your Master can defeat that Beast. He is way stronger than the likes of you."
"That sounds like our problem." Lyall comnted making Hael sigh.
"You’re awfully casual about it."
"Yes, because I won’t be serving my Master if I had any doubt that he won’t be able to get this work done."
I felt a swell of pride hearing that.
Hael stared at Lyall for a mont before his eyes went over to all of my team before he stood up.
"I’m the Captain of the third unit of Revolutionary Army." The man introduced himself and Lyall nodded.
"Pleased to finally et soone of the revolutionary army."
"If you really think your Master is capable of achieving this feat then, I would like to see him."
"My Master is busy, he won’t et soone who isn’t the head."
Hael’s jaw clenched while Lyall sat in his relaxed posture looking up at him.
"Fine then, we’ll see how strong your Master is. If your Master can do sothing to prove his worth-"
"You’re mistaking sothing, Hael." Lyall waved his hand stopping Hael as he clarified.
"My Master doesn’t require to prove his worth, he has his own league and what he will be doing is sothing that you and all your army has failed to do for all these years."
"You-" Hael gritted his teeth glaring down at Lyall who still sat with a composed expression and sighed.
"What’s your purpose for doing this? Is your Master so bored that he’s willing to sacrifice not only himself but also those around him?"
"There is sothing that my Master wishes to retrieve from the Scorpion and for that, he will go to any lengths."
"What is so precious to risk his life?" Hael asked and Lyall once looked at .
I recalled Davian’s lancholic face and recalled his words to distrust which made release a low sigh.
"Soone’s happiness and trust." Lyall answered.
Hael stared at Lyall for a mont before he looked at his n who were still tied and the last one who was currently sitting in a corner with his dislocated shoulder.
"... You are all outsiders, it won’t be as easy for you or your Master to do things smoothly. The Beast’s spies are all over the place and you might not even know but you must already be in their surveillance." Hael said.

I frowned, how on earth was this related? not gaining the trust of the leader and the destruction of the kingdom?
I sighed and gave up deciphering it, it wasn’t hard to fulfill this task so, I guess, I would just play along and see what would happen.
"You will require our help if you are so dedicated in making enemies with the Beast." Hael spoke and Lyall glanced in my direction for a split second and I gave him a subtle nod.
"I will talk to my Master regarding this, your side can decide the place of eting." Lyall said as he stood up.
"All right then, I will also talk to our leader and send you a ssage." Hael said and the n shook hands over it.
The tied n were released and the man with dislocated shoulder stood up and gasped as I had walked up to him.
"Sta-Stay away." He showed his knife and I sighed gripping the front of his tunic slapping the knife off of his hand.
"Bite a piece of your shirt." I ordered shoving his tunic in his mouth as he grunted before I turned him gripping his shoulder.
I heard him inhale sharply.
"On the count of three." I said and the man gave a teary look.
"All right," I spoke, "Three."
I snapped his shoulder back in place making him release muffled grunt and he whipped back to glaring daggers at as if to demand, where did one and two go?
"There all set." I dusted my palms before I turned and walked back to Lyall.
My four spies spread out to return to their respective positions before I and Lyall stepped back onto the streets of the capital just as the golden rays of the sun started peeking from the horizon.
"It was quite fortunate to et the Revolutionary Army in such a place." Lyall spoke.
"You did great work handling the negotiation, Lyall." I patted his back twice.
"I don’t think, I negotiated at all, Master. I simply gave them factual information." Lyall shrugged his shoulders and I smirked.
"Let’s see who the leader of this army is, if they’re good enough then I’ll bring them along as well." I said before stretching my arms above my head hearing the satisfying pops and Lyall looked at .
"If I didn’t know better then I might have assud that you are making an army for yourself, Master." Lyall said with a small smile and I looked at him clarifying his point.
"And what will you do if I said, that’s precisely what I’m doing, Lyall?"
Lyall stared at for a mont before he chuckled.
"I will work harder so that no one would take my position at your side."
I smiled, "Don’t worry, you’re my Swordsman. You already have earned your place. Now all I need is so more capable people to guard my empire."
"I guess, nothing should surprise when it cos to you, Master."
I smiled as I looked at the twilight before I spoke, "Let’s finish this work soon and return. I miss my people."
