"Why? Weren’t these seats chosen by you students yourselves?" Since the start of the sester, there hadn’t been ti to rearrange the seating, so it was all based on where the students initially chose to sit. At this age, most students are just beginning to experience the pangs of young love.
There is a natural shyness towards the opposite sex, so apart from Jiaojiao and Xiu Xi, there were no other pairs of boys and girls sitting together in class.

Seeing that neither seed keen to sit together, he turned to ask the whole class, "Does anyone want to switch seats with Yang Xiaona or Xu Jie?"
"..." The class fell silent, and no one spoke up.
Jiaojiao hesitated a bit. She would be willing to sit with Yang Xiaona, but Xiu Xi was sitting next to her, and they had been desk partners since childhood, never separating.
She rembered in her first year of middle school how Yang Tao coaxed her to switch seats and beco desk partners, which made Xiu Xi really angry.
It’s as if Xiu Xi knew what she was thinking; he tightened his grip on her wrist.
When she turned to look at him, he discreetly shook his head.
As the silence dragged on, Yang Xiaona’s face grew paler, and Xu Jie stood there biting her lip, looking like she had suffered a great injustice.

Upon hearing this, Xu Jie bit her lip but, after looking at Yang Xiaona, still said nothing. It was obvious she did not want to sit with her, even if it ant sitting with a boy.
The eyes of the whole class involuntarily changed.
It must be real disdain if she’d rather sit with a boy than with Yang Xiaona.
Yang Xiaona, head down and face pale, was about to nod when she saw out of the corner of her eye that Jiaojiao raised her hand.
Jiaojiao, feeling a bit empathetic, raised her hand.
Yang Xiaona and Xu Jie looked over simultaneously, with Yang Xiaona’s eyes lighting up, while Xu Jie initially frowned, then brightened when she saw Xiu Xi next to Jiaojiao.
If Jiaojiao sat with Yang Xiaona, wouldn’t she get to sit with Xiu Xi?
Thinking of his impeccable, handso face, Xu Jie’s face flushed red, and her gaze turned a bit shy.
But the next second, they heard Xiu Xi speaking up as Jiaojiao raised her hand, "Teacher, Lu Zishu said he’s willing to switch seats with Yang Xiaona."
"!!!" Lu Zishu suddenly raised his head, staring at Xiu Xi in disbelief. You’re lying, I didn’t!
"Lu Zishu, are you willing?" The horoom teacher was clearly surprised as well and asked Lu Zishu.
