Ruan Jiaojiao never realized how effective these reading sounds were for hypnosis; she tried hard to stay awake, yet the sound of the reading felt like a lullaby, making her eyelids heavier and harder to keep open.
Seeing her so sleepy but still not resting, Xiu Xi put down his book, coaxing her, "Just nap for a bit, or you’ll be even more tired in class later."
Ruan Jiaojiao looked at him sluggishly, tearfully yawned, thinking what he said made sense, and thought it better to take a quick nap now, otherwise staying like this during class would truly be a loss.
