"Oh no, what happened?" All the teachers in the office knew Ruan Jiaojiao, and seeing her being carried by Xiu Xi with an unwell expression, they imdiately ca out with concern.
"She’s feeling a bit unwell." Yang Xiaona answered, while glancing inside the office. The teacher guessed that they were looking for Shu Jiao and imdiately explained, "Are you looking for Teacher Shu? She went to the class, or should I call her for you?"
"No need." Xiu Xi answered, carrying Ruan Jiaojiao straight to Shu Jiao’s class.
When Xiu Xi carried Ruan Jiaojiao to Shu Jiao’s class, Shu Jiao happened to be walking to the classroom door. As soon as she stepped out, she saw Xiu Xi carrying Ruan Jiaojiao, her face changed in an instant, and she quickly approached.
Seeing Ruan Jiaojiao soaked in sweat, her face bloodless, she felt an overwhelming heartache.
"Is Jiaojiao still unwell?" she asked, while wiping the sweat from her face, her eyes brimming with compassion.
Ruan Jiaojiao nodded, not hiding anything: "Mom, I’m having so heart discomfort."
A wave of heart palpitations surged through Ruan Jiaojiao; she couldn’t describe the feeling, but felt genuinely ill, as if the next mont she would die.
"Jiaojiao? What’s happening? Are you sick?" Ruan Feng, a student in Shu Jiao’s class, was sitting in the middle of the classroom and saw the scene, imdiately throwing down his book to run out, looking at Ruan Jiaojiao anxiously.
"Aunt, Jiaojiao seems really unwell, we’d better get to the hospital quickly." He asked, and without waiting for Ruan Jiaojiao’s response, anxiously spoke to Shu Jiao.
"Okay, Aunt understands, Xiaofeng, you should return to class first." Shu Jiao nodded.
Ruan Feng was sowhat uneasy, wanting to follow them to the hospital to see, but since Shu Jiao and Xiu Xi were going, it seed there wasn’t much need for him. Reluctantly, he stood at the back watching, only to return to class but couldn’t focus on reading.
On the way back, Shu Jiao first went to the office to grab her bag, dialing Ruan Jianguo’s number while Yang Xiaona and she escorted Ruan Jiaojiao ho from either side.
Just then, Ruan Jianguo also arrived at the school, and as Shu Jiao stepped out, the five of them t up.
Seeing his perfectly fine daughter suddenly in such a state, Ruan Jianguo was taken aback.
"Wh... what happened?!" Ruan Jianguo stamred in panic.
"Get to the hospital quickly!" Ruan Jiaojiao’s complexion worsened, Shu Jiao growled, quickly getting into the front passenger seat.
Ruan Jiaojiao was placed in the back seat by Xiu Xi, with Yang Xiaona and him on either side protecting her.
"Alright, alright." Ruan Jianguo nodded, but the more nervous he got, the ssier things beca, having to start the car several tis before finally igniting it. Once the car was started, he imdiately sped towards the hospital.
Ruan Jiaojiao wasn’t sure if it was because the car was too enclosed or too bumpy, but with her racing heartbeat, she felt her breathing becoming difficult.
It felt as if soone was squeezing her heart, causing spasms. With her vision darkening, she was initially leaning on Xiu Xi’s shoulder but slowly slid down to lay on his lap to make herself more comfortable.
Straining her body and opening her mouth, like a fish deprived of oxygen, she tried hard to breathe, trying to take in more air, but it was all in vain.
"Brother Xiu, I’m having trouble breathing, I feel so uncomfortable." She struggled to pull her collar and pleaded for Xiu Xi’s help.
In the front, Shu Jiao heard and imdiately instructed Xiu Xi, "Xiaoxi, quickly unbutton the top two buttons of Jiaojiao’s shirt."
