The plainly dressed woman followed her gaze, first scrutinizing the Ruanlin Family in this compartnt. Seeing that they were well-dressed, she smiled at them and then led the little girl away.
However, due to the lack of soundproofing, they could faintly hear her saying sothing about it being filthy and cautioning not to touch or risk being bitten.
Ruan Jiaojiao’s hearing was much better than before. Even though the train was quite noisy, she heard it clearly.
She twitched her little whiskers, turned in a huff holding her small milk bottle.
She wasn’t dirty at all; she’d just bathed before going out, using imported pet shampoo sent by her aunt. It slled wonderful, not only making her fur more silky but also kind to her skin.
“Not dirty, not dirty, our good baby… kitty is the cleanest!” Ruan Jianguo, munching on pancakes, quickly comforted when he saw Ruan Jiaojiao getting upset.
“ow-wow!” It slls lovely!
Ruan Jiaojiao reasserted earnestly.
She twisted her little head to sniff herself, making a delighted facial expression. She was a little fairy cat, how could she be dirty?
“Brother Ruan’s kitten indeed seems quite sentient.” Watching Ruan Jiaojiao’s series of actions, the middle-aged man beside them who had been reading looked over, smiled, and said.
He was not particularly handso but carried a refined deanor, holding a book in hand, exuding an intellectual aura, and when he smiled, he appeared polished and courteous, making him easily likable.
