In less than half an hour, Ruan Hao and Xiu Xi arrived driving a car.
As soon as Jiaojiao saw them, she waved from a distance and shouted, “Brother Xi, let big brother hold the cat first!”
She finally decided to go have a look at what exactly was in that mortuary.
She didn’t dare go on her own, but with Xiu Xi, she feared nothing.
Xiu Xi had sharp hearing, and though they were far apart, he heard her clearly. Holding the kitten in his arms, he quickly told Ruan Hao, who was driving beside him, “Stop the car first.”
Ruan Hao looked at him in confusion, not understanding, but still hit the brake.
“You hold it first and don’t co over.” Xiu Xi instructed, handing over the cat, then got out of the car and jogged over to Jiaojiao.
“Brother Xi, I rembered what happened last ti. I followed that fake Feng Nianian to a mortuary. She seed to be doing sothing there. I’m a bit afraid to go over, can you co with ?”
Of course, Xiu Xi nodded and agreed.
He asked Jiaojiao to stand aside, ran over to the car, and told the clueless Ruan Hao sothing, then started walking towards the mortuary with Jiaojiao.
It’s already autumn, and it’s quite chilly early and late in the day, especially at midnight. As they got closer to that mortuary, Jiaojiao felt increasingly cold. She wanted to hold onto Xiu Xi, but when she reached out, she couldn’t touch anything, and couldn’t help but pout.

Even though he said that, Jiaojiao still shivered. Xiu Xi asked her, “Do you still want to go in?”
Jiaojiao nodded. Yes, she definitely wanted to go in!
Last ti Jiaojiao reached the mouth of this alley, many cats and dogs rushed out, but today there wasn’t even one. She guessed it must be because of Xiu Xi, and her heart settled even more.
When they arrived at the mortuary’s entrance, Xiu Xi walked ahead, and Jiaojiao followed closely. The creaky wooden door didn’t even need them to push it; it just swung open with a gust of cold wind.
“Hiss…” Jiaojiao felt her heart shiver.
Even more terrifying, she barely stepped in after Xiu Xi, and the door slamd shut with a bang right behind her.
