When Ruan Jiaojiao woke up the next day, it was already bright outside. She turned over in bed and realized she was no longer in Shu Jiao’s bed but back in Xiu Xi’s bed.
Xiu Xi was sitting in a chair at the bedside, looking down at sothing. Seeing her awake, he imdiately put down the book in his hand.
Ruan Jiaojiao covered her little mouth with fur and yawned. Using his hand, she climbed down to solve her physiological need in the bathroom. When she ca out, she heard so noise outside and looked at Xiu Xi with curiosity.
“ow?” Brother Xi, what’s going on outside?
“Your grandfather discovered Xiaobai,” Xiu Xi replied while tidying up the bathroom.
Seeing his natural movents, Ruan Jiaojiao had shifted from initial embarrassnt to indifference. She didn’t bother with him anymore and walked out on her short legs. At the door, she saw Rourou squatting outside. Upon seeing her co out, Rourou imdiately lay flat on the ground, and Ruan Jiaojiao climbed on smoothly.

Ruan Jiaojiao called out, and Rourou imdiately stood up straight, carrying her downstairs.
Downstairs, Grandpa Shu had just finished taking his heart-saving pill, with Ruan Hao helping him catch his breath. Nearby, Xiaobai was standing under the window, large and overwhelming, yet with a drooping head that’s inexplicably pitiful.
Xiaobai had been persuaded by Shu Jiao to return to the forest the day before Ruan Jiaojiao and the others returned. However, after only one day in the forest, it couldn’t bear it anymore, missing Ruan Jiaojiao so much that it wanted to sneak a peek.
It knew guests had arrived at the Ruan Family, but thought being cautious and sneaky would be okay. So, it ca over early before dawn, unaware that Ruan Jiaojiao didn’t sleep in her room or Xiu Xi’s room that day. The family guest was an old man who disliked sleeping in, waking up even earlier. Before dawn, he got up and wandered through the villa, looking around.
Unexpectedly, as he wandered through the villa looking for Ruan Jiaojiao, Xiaobai looked into the room of the Ruanlin Family downstairs.
One stayed below, one above.

Grandpa Shu was so frightened that he almost passed out, and Xiaobai was equally startled, tumbling down to the bottom of the stairs with a very loud noise.
Luckily, after the last incident, the Ruan Family had reinforced the stairs, or it wouldn’t have stood the antics of Rourou and Xiaobai.
Yet, it successfully woke everyone in the Ruan Family except Ruan Jiaojiao.
And that resulted in the current standoff.
After experiencing the transformation of Ruan Jiaojiao into a cat, Grandpa Shu had developed so resilience. However, upon seeing a living depiction of “Changchong” in the Ruan Family, even he found it hard to cope.
He even had a ridiculous thought pop into his head: could the Ruan Family all be transford monsters?
After all, many stories depict it this way.
He looked at Ruan Hao, who was helping him catch his breath, noticing a resemblance to Shu Laofuren and felt that even if they were transford monsters, it could be accepted.
But then he turned to Ruan Jianguo not far away and frowned. So robust, so unattractive—what is its original form? A cow?
