Now reading: Chapter 1720: Mass Brawl Incident (2) from The Kitty Became a Cutie and Was Pampered in the 80s, a Romance novel by Kakaer.

Jiaojiao’s eyelids twitched with anger. If Ruan Hao hadn’t also glimpsed her and gestured with his eyes for her not to approach, she would have been furious enough to bite off that wretched finger of hers!

Ruan Hao rose from his chair, appearing calm in the face of Ye Zuya’s accusations, and said nonchalantly, "Ms. Ye, choose your words wisely."

Earlier, Ye Zuya was rely angry with Ruan Hao’s actions, but now Ruan Hao’s indifferent deanor pierced a hole in her heart, leaving her utterly heartbroken.

Her father had indeed ntored Ruan Hao for a period, but Ruan Hao graduated in two years and imdiately went abroad. The ti under Ye’s guidance was quite brief.

Yet Ruan Hao’s excellence was unforgettable for Ye’s ntor, who treated him better than other students, even actively interacting with him, and had thoughts of making him a son-in-law.

It wasn’t until discovering Ruan Hao was the grandson of Old Master Shu that those thoughts halted.

However, Ye Zuya felt that although she wasn’t his match, her father had ntored Ruan Hao, which made things different. Moreover, as the saying goes, "Once a teacher, always a father." What Ruan Hao did was exceedingly excessive! Heartless!

It turns out that after military training ended, Zheng Jiaojiao didn’t move out of the dormitory but was directly expelled, and it wasn’t just her — there were seven others!

This incident has inseparable ties with Jiaojiao; after the previous confrontation between Zheng Jiaojiao and Jiaojiao, Ruan Hao, thorough as always, left no room for others and conducted a deep investigation into Zheng Jiaojiao.

It was truly a case of "if you don’t investigate, you won’t know; once investigated, it’s shocking." Zheng Jiaojiao hadn’t even been admitted to Qing University; her uncle had bribed an admissions office teacher to replace another student’s registration.

This matter was quite obscure; without prior knowledge, it would have been impossible to uncover.

Yet, Zheng Jiaojiao had a boastful mother; Zheng Jiaojiao’s grades were rely above average, capable of getting into a vocational school, but dreaming of Qing University was unrealistic.

During the last sester of senior year, it was mainly full of mock exams, making Zheng Jiaojiao’s performance no secret—neighbors and classmates were aware of her capabilities.

Everyone knew her difficulty with college admission, yet her mother boastfully claid her daughter was fit for Qing University, gloating.

At first, people didn’t take her seriously, but unexpected as the college entrance exams concluded, she indeed got into Qing University!

Everyone was astounded; insightful minds suspecting why, knowing her poor grades but having an uncle at Qing University working as a PhD supervisor hinted at a possible path of dubious maneuvers.

Yet, since this didn’t concern them directly and she had a PhD supervisor uncle, people chose peace over curiosity, not digging further.

Those simple-minded, saw it as an exceptional feat, using it as a positive story, telling their children to strive harder in hopes of surprising themselves in exams.

No matter how it’s spoken of, the matter exceeded the norm and gradually spread throughout Zheng Jiaojiao’s neighborhood, saving Ruan Hao considerable effort when investigating.
