Feng Nianian went to order food at the back, her face not looking very pleasant. It wasn’t until she finished ordering and turned around that a smile returned to her face.
Although she couldn’t sit at Duan Qianyang’s table, she still found the nearest spot to sit down, facing exactly in that direction.
Ruan Jiaojiao noticed she didn’t sit at the sa table and, for Duan Qianyang’s sake, didn’t show anything overt, but she was indeed relieved inside.
After all, sitting with people you don’t like while eating your favorite food is torturous no matter how you think about it.

Duan Qianyang brought them over as they passed that table, and the four or five students sat down. Duan Qianyang, being a senior, couldn’t possibly ignore his niece, so he stopped in front of the table with Ruan Jiaojiao and Duan Xi.
"Nianian, are those your classmates?" he asked proactively.
Feng Nianian imdiately stood up: "Yes, Uncle, are you leaving now?"
Duan Qianyang nodded, taking his wallet out to give her money while saying, "You entertain your classmates well, rember to go ho before dark, I have so business to attend to, so I’ll leave now."
Feng Nianian didn’t refuse, reached out for the money, and thanked him intimately: "Thank you, Uncle, goodbye then."
Duan Qianyang nodded to her classmates and left with Ruan Jiaojiao and Duan Xi.
Right after they left, one of Feng Nianian’s classmates asked surprisingly, "Nianian, was that really your uncle?"
Feng Nianian was only a year older than Ruan Jiaojiao, sixteen this year. Because of previous circumstances, she wasted several years without studying, so she was now in the second year of middle school, in a renowned aristocratic school in Beidu. Most of her classmates were children from influential families.
They might not know Duan Qianyang well, but at least they’ve heard of him from their elders.
But they totally didn’t expect Feng Nianian to be Duan Qianyang’s niece!
Feng Nianian nodded sowhat shyly, pretending to be oblivious: "Yes, why?"
"Why? Nianian, you’re really composed, why didn’t you say anything before?!" said a more stylishly dressed girl.
Feng Nianian laughed indifferently: "It’s okay, I didn’t think it was worth ntioning."
"Not worth ntioning? Do you know who he is? He’s Duan Qianyang." another boy said, knowing more about Duan Qianyang than the girls. After all, their parents sent them to aristocratic schools to et more powerful and influential people.
But they didn’t expect Feng Nianian, who had always seed unremarkable in class, to have such a formidable uncle, and imdiately their perspective on her changed.
Feng Nianian still just smiled, as if nothing mattered.
"By the way, that boy with eyes like your uncle, is he your cousin?" another girl asked, blushing a bit after she asked, rembering the boy’s appearance, her heart pounding faster.
