Lu Zishu stopped the car halfway, got out from the driver’s seat, and ran to Duan Xi’s side. Duan Xi rolled down the window and watched him ask while warming his hands, "Brother Xi, are we going directly to Yuezi’s school, or should we find a place to settle first?"
Duan Xi checked the ti; they departed around eight this morning, and now it was already past ten. He turned to look at Ruan Jiaojiao, and after thinking briefly, she said, "Let’s go directly to the school and pick up Qin Yue for lunch together."

Suddenly, six stylish cars arrived, attracting the attention of many stores along the small street, with many people coming out to see what’s happening, so even mistaking it for a wedding convoy.
Qin Yue’s exam ended this morning, and they were on break in the afternoon. When Ruan Jiaojiao and the others arrived at the school gate, the school hadn’t yet closed for the holiday; the last exam was still underway. There wasn’t a Door Guard at the entrance, but a few students were coming in and out intermittently.
Lu Zishu, unable to sit still, parked and went with Ruan Lei to see the situation inside the school. Ruan Jiaojiao, fearing the cold and not wanting to get out, chatted in the car with Xin Miao and Yu Rou, who ran over from behind.

"Did you see Qin Yue?" Ruan Jiaojiao asked.
"No, we didn’t go into the teaching building since they were taking an exam." Although usually laid-back, Lu Zishu knew they were having exams, so he didn’t wander into the teaching building, as it might disrupt them.
Ruan Jiaojiao nodded, and they all chatted idly.
About another quarter of an hour later, Yu Rou couldn’t sit still anymore and got out of the car, trying to persuade Ruan Jiaojiao to stroll around the small street beside the school. Because of the school’s proximity, there were quite a few small accessory shops filled with trinkets. Although cheap, girls love browsing such stores.
Seeing that Ruan Jiaojiao was tempted, Duan Xi didn’t stop them but got up to go to the trunk, pulling out a pair of black leather high-top snow boots, a beige cashre scarf, and a red beret.
Ruan Jiaojiao took the hat and scarf, using a small mirror from the car to put them on. Duan Xi bent down, removed the short cotton boots from her feet, and gently put on the newly brought high-top snow boots, his movents careful and tender.
