Lu Zishu was just about to respond when he caught a glimpse of Qin Yue walking over. He imdiately jumped up and waved to greet him.

Qin Yue knew they were coming, but actually seeing them, he couldn’t help but get excited. He ran over eagerly, hugged Lu Zishu, jumping with joy.

Duan Xin was a year older than them, so seeing them chat like this, he turned to the teacher and said, "Teacher, the person we are waiting for has arrived. We’re just here to pick him up; you don’t need to worry about us."

The teacher saw that they were waiting for Qin Yue, and his expression changed slightly, not looking too pleased. He managed to keep his composure and nodded before turning back to the other school leaders, whispering a few words. The expressions of those leaders also turned a bit odd, and they frequently looked over without hurrying to leave.

"Yuezi, what’s the deal with those teachers at your school?" Ruan Lei patted Qin Yue on the shoulder and asked.

Qin Yue followed his gaze and saw a few school leaders smiling at him rather obsequiously. He imdiately rolled his eyes, and with an arm around Lu Zishu and Ruan Lei’s shoulders, said, "You must be hungry, let’s go and grab sothing to eat. We’ll talk about this later."

"Alright, I am hungry. What’s good to eat around here?"

"They have a type of hand-pulled hotpot chicken here, paired with their homade sauce and plum wine—it’s quite good. Co on, I’ll take you to eat."

As they chatted, they got into the car, which drove off under the gaze of many onlookers.

After they left, the students watching and a few school leaders stood at the entrance for several more minutes before gradually dispersing. At the sa ti, rumors about Qin Yue’s impressive family background spread throughout the school.

anwhile, Qin Yue led the group to a local restaurant, and as the car stopped, nurous shop owners around curiously poked their heads out to take a look.

The restaurant was a family-run private eatery, with the parents as the chefs and an eighteen-year-old girl as the waitress. As Qin Yue led Ruan Jiaojiao and the others inside, her eyes filled with admiration. Qin Yue called her several tis before she ran up, blushing.

"Sister Yu, bring the nu for my friends to take a look. Is there plum wine today?" Qin Yue asked.

The girl nad Sister Yu nodded quickly, "Yes, yes, my dad just brewed so recently. How much do you want?"

"A pound will do," Lu Zishu waved grandly, displaying great enthusiasm.

Ruan Jiaojiao quickly said, "We still have to drive back tonight, let’s just taste a little." Although drunk driving wasn’t a concern right now, it was winter and the roads were not great, so it’s better to be responsible.

"Little sister, our wine has no alcohol content, it won’t get you drunk," the girl hurriedly explained when she heard Jiaojiao’s comnt.

"Yeah, we still have a whole afternoon before evening. Even if there is so alcohol, it should have worn off by then. No worries, just order a pound," Lu Zishu was truly in high spirits today, even more so now.

Ruan Jiaojiao saw they were all eager and didn’t want to spoil the mood, so she didn’t insist.

The small restaurant didn’t have private rooms, so they could only sit outside. The drivers for Xin Miao and Yu Rou didn’t want to sit together with them, so they opened another table and ate there.

After ordering the food, they sat around a round table, and Duan Xi suddenly got up and went to the cash register.
