Jiaojiao retorted, "That’s impossible. My brother Xiaoxi could only be mine, you don’t understand."

After tidying up the dormitory, Jiaojiao waited for Cao Qiu to co back, said goodbye, and then went downstairs with Yang Xiaona carrying bags. Below, Ruan Chi and Duan Xi were already waiting. Both of them were remarkably attractive, drawing attention, but it seed they didn’t notice, quietly conversing with each other.
It wasn’t until Jiaojiao and Yang Xiaona appeared downstairs that they approached.
Ruan Chi took over the items from Yang Xiaona’s hand, while Duan Xi took Jiaojiao’s stuff, and holding her little hand, led her towards the car. Jiaojiao said, "Brother Xiaoxi, wait a mont. I need to say goodbye to Aunt Tang first."
Duan Xi nodded, releasing her hand for the mont.
Jiaojiao went to the dormitory building to say goodbye to Aunt Tang. anwhile, as the three of them put things into the car and waited by it, Ruan Chi sensed an unmistakable gaze on him. He looked over, only to et the eyes of Shen Ting standing not far away.
Ruan Chi had been busy with his law firm, which had just started, so he hadn’t been to the Ruan Family’s villa recently and was unaware of Shen Ting’s existence. Feeling Shen Ting’s gaze, he looked over and asked Duan Xi, "Who is that?"
Duan Xi had already known about Shen Ting being there, but he didn’t pay much attention. Since Shen Ting returned to Beidu, he had been hovering around him, never approaching, just watching from afar.

Jiaojiao ca out a few minutes later with so food in her hand. It was sour plums made by Aunt Tang. Jiaojiao doesn’t eat well in sumr and gets even thinner, which is worrying.
Aunt Tang had specifically bought so unripe green plums and made them into sour plums. She would give Jiaojiao a couple to boost her appetite before als, and Jiaojiao would eat better.
Even during the winter break, Aunt Tang worried she wouldn’t eat well, so she made a jar, knowing these sour plums kept well in the fridge for a month or two.
Jiaojiao liked them too. Once in the car, she imdiately took one out and popped it into her mouth, the sourness making her salivate, and she didn’t forget to ask the others in the car if they wanted one. Except for Yang Xiaona, who took one, Ruan Chi and Duan Xi didn’t want any.
The four of them didn’t rush back but first drove to Hengya to pick up a few things before heading ho.
In the evening, while Jiaojiao snuggled comfortably on the sofa watching TV, Ruan Jianguo ca in from outside, holding a letter and muttering suspiciously.
Jiaojiao looked up curiously, asking, "Dad, what are you muttering about?"
"There’s a letter at the Door Guard’s place addressed to Xiaoxi." The Ruan Family all have mobile phones now and rarely use letters to communicate. So Ruan Jianguo was puzzled about who would write a letter, and to Duan Xi no less.
Jiaojiao imdiately ran over, tiptoeing to take a look.
