Before Ruan Jiaojiao could respond, it suddenly felt a wave of peculiar hostility emanating from behind. Abruptly, it shrank its head, tucked its tail, not even daring to glance back, and scurried off on its pudgy legs to seek refuge with the Ruanlin Family.
Watching its timid deanor, Ruan Jiaojiao couldn’t help but laugh aloud.
Xiaoxue also appeared slightly disdainful, unwilling to even spare it a glance as she turned her head away.
