A boy said these words, which were indeed quite heavy and particularly hurtful.

Shen Ting was soone Ruan Jiaojiao wasn’t very familiar with. Although they lived in the sa neighborhood and were neighbors, ever since Ruan Jiaojiao ntioned to Duan Xi what Shen Ting had asked her, Shen Ting hadn’t approached her again. Instead, he got closer to Duan Xi, and the two participated in many competitions together.

Even though she wasn’t very familiar with him, just from the ti he sent a letter without a signed address to Duan Xi, Ruan Jiaojiao could tell that this guy was quite... sharp-tongued.

So now, him saying such words to Zhou Yun wasn’t very surprising.

She was just curious, wondering what Zhou Yun did to make him speak so rudely?

Ruan Jiaojiao blinked, ready to quietly sneak away from the corner. Her steps unknowingly slowed a bit as she turned her small head to the other side, but her ears perked up attentively.

After listening for a while without hearing the follow-up, she couldn’t help turning her head back, only to find three pairs of eyes looking at her.

"..." Ruan Jiaojiao.

Licking her lips, she waved her hand awkwardly and chuckled lightly, "Well, you guys continue, continue. Don’t mind ; I’m just passing by."

After saying that, she quickly sped up to run away, but was stopped by Shen Ting.

Shen Ting walked up and seriously scrutinized her. Seeing that she didn’t give Jiang Xun an extra glance, he felt quite satisfied and said to her, "I’ll walk with you."

"Huh?" Ruan Jiaojiao thought, are they really that close?

"Let’s go. Duan Xi is waiting up ahead." Shen Ting said, leading the way. Ruan Jiaojiao hesitated for a second before hurriedly catching up.

On the way, she turned back for a glance and saw Zhou Yun with a pale face and red eyes, alongside Jiang Xun’s grim expression, looking in her direction. Especially Jiang Xun, his gaze made her feel inexplicably nauseated. She shivered, quickly withdrew her gaze, and caught up with Shen Ting.

"Brother Xiao, I didn’t, you have to believe . I really only ca to find Mr. Shen because the shop owner instructed today; I wasn’t... seducing him..." Zhou Yun paused at the last three words, her eyes red, as if it was hard to even speak them.

"I know; I believe you." Jiang Xun naturally believed Zhou Yun. Growing up together, he knew Zhou Yun wasn’t like that. Seeing her eyes redden and her face pale, he felt a bit distressed and comforted her.

Zhou Yun relaxed upon hearing this, giving Jiang Xun a smile, as if his words had truly comforted her greatly.

She tilted her head, bit her lip, and seed a bit puzzled as she asked him, "Brother Xiao, wasn’t that girl just now the fiancée of the Duan Family’s young master? Why does it seem like she has a good relationship with Mr. Shen too?"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Xun’s expression indeed turned cold, and his gaze grew icy.

"That girl is so beautiful. Does Mr. Shen like her?" Zhou Yun, seeing his lack of response and his colder face, added with a hint of envy, "I really envy her; she’s so pretty and so popular, as if everyone likes her, unlike ..."

At this point, Zhou Yun’s expression inevitably darkened, as if recalling what Shen Ting had said earlier, her mood turned somber again.
