Jiaojiao couldn’t help but feel a bit moved. She tried hard to hold her breath and cautiously approached, deliberately pouting her little lips. Just as she was about to get closer, she saw the person she wanted to steal a kiss from suddenly open his eyes.
Jiaojiao paused for a mont, and the next second she swiftly leaned in, took a bite on Duan Xi’s lips, then squinted her eyes with a smile and got up to run.
Of course, running away wasn’t an option.
Duan Xi extended his hand and hooked Jiaojiao’s small waist, pulling her back as she tried to escape after the stolen kiss.

Duan Xi, being three years older than Jiaojiao, was turning twenty this year. A normal twenty-year-old man finds it hard to suppress certain emotions when facing the person they like the most.
Though he rembered Jiaojiao wasn’t an adult yet, he often tried his best to restrain himself.
But no amount of restraint could match his beloved one being proactive. He quickly pulled Jiaojiao down, pressing her underneath in a position with him on top and her below.
Duan Xi didn’t dare go deeper, only tasting lightly, then propped himself up to look at her, following the stray hairs on her forehead, knowingly asking, "Why did you run?"
Jiaojiao’s little face was very red, not knowing whether it was because she just woke up, or because of his focused gaze.
She lowered her eyelids, remained silent, but quietly hooked her small hand around his neck, and said in a particularly soft voice, "Brother Xi... can... can you kiss again?"
Duan Xi was startled.

Jiaojiao didn’t know how long the kiss lasted. When she ca to her senses, she couldn’t help but feel a bit shy and full of sweetness, whispering to him, "Brother Xi, do you think I’m not reserved enough?"
She thought perhaps there wasn’t another girl as shaless as herself, actively seeking a kiss, but she couldn’t help it, as she really craved closeness with him, liked being close to him, and couldn’t control her heart.
"Silly treasure, grow up quickly." Duan Xi’s response was to pull her tightly into his arms, holding as if he wished to embed her into his very bones.
Grow up quickly?
At first, Jiaojiao didn’t understand what he ant, but when she felt the burning heat all over Duan Xi who was holding her, she imdiately understood. She shyly buried her little head in his chest, her voice as low as a mosquito, "Very soon, next year I’ll be grown up."
Duan Xi’s body stiffened, and the next second he hugged her even tighter.
Jiaojiao thought, if only they could hold each other like this until the end of ti, but in reality, they hadn’t embraced for more than a few minutes before there was a sudden loud knocking on the door from outside.
