Chapter 466: Chapter 466 Protective Mother (2)_1 Chapter 466: Chapter 466 Protective Mother (2)_1 Ruan Jiaojiao picked up the milk bottle and took a sip; finding the temperature to be just right, she said to Shu Jiao, “It’s just right, this will do.”

Ruan Jiaojiao herself didn’t even realize she had developed a craving for milk. She hadn’t missed it before when she hadn’t had any, but now that she did, she found she missed it terribly.

Shu Jiao, seeing her daughter suckling contentedly, softened her gaze, then stood up and turned with an apologetic smile towards the principal and horoom teacher who were still standing there, “Sorry, my daughter is frail. Next ti, I’ll make sure she drinks before morning reading class.”

“No problem, no problem, the child’s health is important,” the principal imdiately replied.

Turning to the horoom teacher at his side, who stepped forward to speak, Shu Jiao preempted, “This must be Teacher Fu, right? I don’t quite understand what just happened. It’s not proper to talk here, shall we find sowhere to discuss this?”

Fu Juan had intended to smooth things over, but never expected things to escalate to this extent. Faced with Shu Jiao’s suggestion, she couldn’t refuse and could only nod with a stiff expression.

“Jiaojiao, co here,” Shu Jiao waved Ruan Jiaojiao over and then walked ahead with her and the principal, with Xiu Xi following beside them.

The horoom teacher had no choice but to go and call Wa Yiting to join them as they left the classroom.

They arrived at the principal’s office.

The principal personally poured two cups of tea. Shu Jiao thanked him with a smile, took a sip, and cast a casual glance at Wa Yiting, who was still wiping tears on the other side. Feeling Shu Jiao’s gaze, Wa Yiting instinctively hid behind the horoom teacher.

But even the horoom teacher was sowhat intimidated by Shu Jiao like this, with Wa Yiting using her as a shield, she couldn’t just step aside. Her face grew even more rigid, already regretting her attempts to diate the situation just a mont ago.

With a simple cup and a few rough tea leaves, Shu Jiao managed an air of incredible elegance while drinking, exuding a presence one couldn’t ignore.

The horoom teacher even felt like she had beco the student in front of Shu Jiao, and not just any student, but one who’d been in trouble and was made to stand up as punishnt.

After Shu Jiao had taken a couple of sips of tea, the principal remained silent until she set down the cup, then he cleared his throat and asked seriously, “Teacher Fu, what exactly happened? Please, tell us.”

Fu Juan glanced at Shu Jiao subconsciously before saying, “In the past few days, Student Jiaojiao wasn’t present, and Wa Yiting had no seat, so she sat at Jiaojiao’s spot for a few days. Today when Jiaojiao ca back, there might have been so conflict over this.”

“Is that what happened, Jiaojiao?” After listening, Shu Jiao asked Ruan Jiaojiao.

Ruan Jiaojiao nodded.

She was curious to see what Shu Jiao would do. In her experience, every mber of the Ruanlin Family was fiercely protective, especially Ruan Jiaojiao’s mother. No matter what, she defended her relentlessly, capable of making the wrong seem right even when Jiaojiao was at fault.

Her nine brothers were the sa, utterly devoted to their little sister, always siding with her.

Even Jianguo was at the beck and call of his daughter, willing to give her anything she wanted without hesitation.

Only Shu Jiao was different, being a highly educated intellectual, she often resolved issues based on reason rather than emotion. She was curious about how Shu Jiao would handle this situation, even though Jiaojiao didn’t feel she had done anything wrong. Still, she thought Shu Jiao might not be so protective either because, in many people’s eyes, as the horoom teacher had put it, she hadn’t really suffered any loss. She should be forgiving, or she would seem ungenerous.
