“Grandma, it’s okay. Xiaobai is with . We’ll be back soon,” Ruan Jiaojiao assured them. Knowing their worries, she added, “Or I could take Rou Rou with , would that be okay?”
Xiaobai had been with the Ruan Family for over two months. Everyone in the family knew he was unusually intelligent and was especially good to Ruan Jiaojiao. Though still worried, they agreed to let her go with him, but still—
