As Qiao Qiqi’s words fell, there was a mont of silence in the classroom...
Clearly, the students in the top class were all academic elites, yet now they couldn’t comprehend what Qiao Qiqi was saying?
"No way... Could it be that Qiao Yue’er has been lying all along? Is Qiao Qiqi the true daughter of the Qiao Family, and Qiao Yue’er the impostor?" The voice of the speaker was filled with incredulity.
One sentence stirred up a commotion in the classroom, as the students recalled Qiao Yue’er’s previously pitiful expression, as if she endured imnse grievances, embodying the image of a fragile white flower. That expression evidently confird the words of Guan Xinruo and her friends!
In the end, she was lying!
This is... simply... shattering our worldview!
Doesn’t her face hurt?
"If this is true, wasn’t Qiao Yue’er just using Guan Xinruo and the others all along? Oh my god, she’s got such a cunning mind!"
"Exactly, such a so-called best friend is terrifying! She’s treating Jiang Xueli and the others as her pawns!"
"I really didn’t see that Qiao Yue’er was such a person... She usually acts so kind, but her thoughts are truly... deep!"
The whispers and disdain from her classmates made Qiao Yue’er feel like dying, and she looked desperately at her three best friends, all of whom wore expressions of disbelief.
Guan Xinruo and Jiang Xueli felt the worst; they always believed Qiao Yue’er was bullied by an adopted daughter, which fueled their anger, nearly destroying their entire family to stand up for her!
Yesterday, when the two went ho, their families completely ignored them, looking as if they intended to abandon them as daughters.
And now soone was telling them that Qiao Yue’er was the adopted daughter!
"Yue’er, what she said isn’t true, right?" Guan Xinruo looked at her with a devastated expression, yet from Qiao Yue’er’s face, she already knew the truth.
"If it’s like this, why didn’t you explain clearly!" Liu Wenjing glared furiously at the nearly fainting girl.
Tears suddenly welled up in Qiao Yue’er’s eyes, and she knelt before the three, sobbing, "I’m sorry, I’m really sorry, I didn’t an not to tell. I was afraid that if I did, you’d look down on ! Boohoo~ I really didn’t an to, please don’t be mad at ! I really didn’t an it!"
The three girls looked at the kneeling, sobbing girl with complicated emotions, and for a mont, they softened a bit.
Qiao Yue’er deceiving them was wrong, but thinking about how difficult it must be for her to reveal she was the adopted one, it was indeed hard for her given her proud nature.
Even so, they didn’t consider that Qiao Yue’er had so many opportunities to clarify, yet she chose not to! Every ti when they got angry, she’d only add fuel to the fire, using them as her pawns!
A person’s lack of honesty truly reflects on their character!
So remained unaffected, recognizing that Qiao Yue’er indeed had character issues. They weren’t stupid; it was clear Qiao Yue’er did it deliberately, using her friends as her pawns. Such people are truly terrifying and must be avoided!
But so, not thinking clearly, were ’moved’ by Qiao Yue’er, thinking she was also pitiable. Her family of over a decade had suddenly turned into strangers, and a biological daughter had showed up at her ho, causing her understandable fear and anxiety, making her reluctant to tell anyone.
Seeing Qiao Yue’er crying her heart out so pitiably, everyone softened.
"Everyone, don’t be too hard on Qiao Yue’er. After all, it’s not like she wanted this. Think about it, a family she lived with for over ten years suddenly becoming unrelated, she must be really upset."
