Under the thick black fog, Rod gazed out to see a colossal black shadow standing on the endless wilderness.

Everyone quieted down; even those who had been to this ancient city before were still awed by its depth and terror.

Guardian Ye Feng murmured, "If only we could move this ancient city back with us, our strength would surely take several steps up!"

Riegel asked gruffly, "Why don’t we just occupy it, like Starry Sky City?"

"Idiot!"

Ye Feng scolded.

"Starry Sky City is only fifteen hundred miles from Trolian, just past the Storm Pass and the Necromantic Passage, we can reach it directly, treating it like an outer city of North City, and easily supply resources and strength."

"Sagus City is eight thousand miles from the Royal City, almost at the edge of the Gray Soil Continent, such a far distance, I ask you, how can we support it? What is the cost of a single support? How do we transport logistical supplies and what is the cost of a single transport?"

Riegel retorted discontentedly, "Don’t we have the amazing black food bucket?"

This absurd remark actually shut Ye Feng up, his flickering gaze turned to Rod, as if asking if he could do it.

Rod covered his face, mumbling, "Stop looking at , I can’t do it, and can you call by my na?"

Ye Feng asked in surprise, "Why? This title, though a bit strange and funny, is your mark. Rembering it helps you maintain your true self in the terrifying darkness, preventing you from going insane."

Riegel grinned, "That’s right, I love when others call by my nickna, the Iron Man of Ankama, it just sounds delightful."

"Indeed." Vito echoed, "Even a simple na like ’White Smoke,’ I also like it."

Rod felt his heart ache more. If my na were half as normal as yours, it wouldn’t be such a hassle.

Unwilling to discuss the topic further, he turned his head to ask, "Lady Olivia, I heard this is your third ti to Sagus City."

Olivia replied indifferently, "Yes, no one in the Royal City is more familiar with this ancient city than I am. The only pity is, when the Book of Destiny was stolen, I wasn’t there."

"What a pity."

Professor Bins said regretfully.

"If it hadn’t been seized by the Doomsday believers and then destroyed, we might have been able to find a way to create a true Divine Artifact."

Rod curiously asked, "What’s the difference between a true Divine Artifact and a Divine Artifact class?"

Professor Bins briefly answered, "A true Divine Artifact is created by the gods, its power touches the Root Origin with a very high energy position, whereas a Divine Artifact class is a man-made imitation, though under so circumstances its power seems similar, its core essence is usually confined to conventional Source Laws, sotis not even using Source Laws at all."

"The sa goes for a Demi Divine Artifact, it’s an unfinished Divine Artifact, from its construction, it’s easily distinguishable whether it’s made by divinity or by humans."

Professor Barrett said excitedly, "Sir Rod, Sagus City might hold the thod of creating the Book of Destiny, if we can acquire it, the Royal City’s craftsmanship could advance further."

Rod touched his mouth: "Why does it feel like technology relies on archaeology?"

Professor Bins adjusted his glasses and said in a bland tone, "Human civilization was disrupted by catastrophes, the past brilliance can only be glimpsed from the remnants in the ruins, we are survivors of disasters, finding useful things in the ashes of the past is the most normal thing."

Professor Barrett laughed, "Of course, we are not stagnant, we are researching technology, new golems, new chanical bodies, things unprecedented. Your little sweetheart Mina is truly a genius in this field."

"Cough, cough, cough."

Rod interrupted him with a series of coughs.

"Teacher Amides is indeed a genius in this area, I admire his pursuit of knowledge and truth, maybe one day, he really can open the door to truth..."

Professor Barrett’s smile widened.

"Sir Rod, you seem to have a deep understanding of Amides... So, as a founder, how do you view this path?"

Rod cautiously replied, "I don’t know, the future is filled with mist, every path is possible, only by constantly trying can we find the way to ultimately save the world."

Professor Barrett grasped Rod’s hand.

"It seems we have found another like-minded comrade."

Professor Bins glanced at them and said blandly, "I have always believed history is the most important, only by understanding what happened in the past can we move forward into the future."

Olivia said politely, "What Professor Bins says is quite right, our main goal for this trip is the relics of the God of Destiny, but beneath the primary objective, we should collect as many resources from Sagus City as possible and explore its secrets."

Her cold gaze swept over the crowd.

"This is one of Trolian’s most important developnt thods, which is also why you are here."

"This ti, we aim to clear this ancient city as thoroughly as possible."

She raised her right hand.

"For Trolian!"

Everyone responded in unison.
