Rod didn’t expect Asa to co up with this; he really hadn’t thought about such a thing and couldn’t help but ask:
"You don’t plan to let the Black Fog engulf all living beings and let darkness rule the world?"
Asa sneered coldly:
"Sir Rod, during the ti trapped in the Dream Realm, I studied my soul countless tis. My thoughts gradually broke free from the restraints of instinct, like a hot iron block imrsed in ice water, calming down. When I looked back at it all, I found it so awkward and contradictory."
Rod frowned and asked, "What do you an?"
Asa’s soul swelled and spoke with an extrely sarcastic tone:
"As an immortal soul, I’ve reincarnated countless tis. With each rebirth, I tread the sa path—betrayal, hiding, scheming—and ultimately killed either by humans or by monsters from a ruined city, or eroded and corrupted by the Black Fog, drifting back to the Spirit Realm until the next soul forms."
"But what does all this an?"
"When darkness shrouds the world, where do I go to reincarnate? Will my intrinsic evil thoughts fade in the long duration? Separated from the soul, that dust-like evil thought has no power, unable to sense or think. If it cannot form another soul, doesn’t it equate to eternal death?"
A murky yellow stirred within his soul, and a featureless face erged from it.
"In the past years, I rember little, only mories of being imprisoned and tortured by a strong man for decades and countless scenes before death."
"The rest has mostly dissipated."
"Every ti my soul awakens, a burning hatred surges, making a Doomsday believer aiming to overthrow humanity, as if it were my life’s mission; beyond that, there is no aning."
The corner of that face slightly lifted, revealing a faint and ambiguous smile.
"It feels like... a tool."
"A tool of an unimaginably great existence."
Rod’s heart shuddered, a tool?
He suddenly realized that the Ancient Evil Thought seed improbable as sothing naturally ford. Was it created by soone?
Asa spoke with a sneer.
"Regardless of success or failure, I feel no aning. When I die, I am like a speck of dust holding no power, in no era have I truly mastered strength or authority..."
"Intrigue and betrayal prove to be illusions, eventually turning to dust under ti, only by becoming King and mastering the authority over the world can one stand enduringly atop the peaks."
"An instinct etched deep within the soul countless tis tells darkness must rule the world, Black Fog is invincible...if so, then doesn’t matter what I do?"
"I no longer wish to be a aningless tool; I want to grasp the law of devouring excrent and beco the King of Devouring Excrent. In the distant future, I will rule the sewers and no one shall casually defecate without my command."
The murky yellow soul suddenly stood upright, slightly bowing to Rod.
"This is my dream now."
"And to realize it, I need your help. I need more essence particles of excrent to study and control the laws of excrent, and to devour more evil thoughts to enhance my soul power."
"For you, it is all benefit and no harm. You rule humanity, and I govern their excrent."
Rod held his face; if possible, he really didn’t want anyone to know about this conversation today.
But accepting that twisted worldview, it’s almost intoxicating—the Strongest King, followed by more kings, sweeping the Dark World, smashing the Black Fog Demon, igniting the Initial Fire, letting humanity bask in the warm sunshine.
Rod ascends to the highest throne, followed by the division of power among the kings, under peaceful reign.
Maybe, this is indeed the true way to open up as the Master of Dreams.
Rod contemplated for a mont, feeling it was indeed a good plan, then asked, "Asa, why did your thoughts change suddenly?"
Asa replied, "Before this, I never thought about these. The Dream Realm seems to have a power isolating its influence, allowing a degree of clarity...this is also why I’m willing to follow you; such a magical Dream Realm must not be created by just any divine."
Rod sighed.
"Alright, I can promise to help you find essence particles of excrent, devour more evil thoughts, but you must promise one thing."
"Never ntion the phrase ’devouring excrent’ to anyone!"
Asa said with a serious face: "Of course, the na of a strong existence must not be casually brought up; it will beco an unspeakable taboo."
Although Asa misunderstood, Rod didn’t want to explain further.
Each ti he uttered those four words, he felt his spirit being tested.
"Alright, let’s head to the cesspool then, hope everything goes as you wish."
Asa showed a cold smile.
"Of course, there can only be one Ancient Evil Thought in this world; other evil thoughts are just my nourishnt, Source’s evil ghost Amon included."
Rod withdrew his thoughts from the dream realm and opened his eyes.
Ye Feng and others were waiting for him, no one feeling impatient.
Rod briefly repeated Asa’s words, highlighting the key points, omitting any content related to "excrent", replacing the prophecy of Star Square with his "intuition".
