The only good news was that the accumulation of human fortune had already been sufficient. Bossivale was utterly shocked to find thirteen Ashen Thrones beneath the Trolian Royal City, whereas Saint-Rael had only one, requiring many years of accumulation to perform a True King Ceremony.
Their Pope O’Sullivan waited twenty years to ascend to True King. The previous Pope lingered on the Life Throne for twenty years in a state of weak vitality, consuming countless resources to extend his life, waiting for the mont when fortune had sufficiently accumulated.
