Now reading: Chapter 134 - 98 Justice Execution2 from The Last King Of Darkness, a Eastern novel by Mountains and rivers have no memory.

Her soul had disappeared from her body, and her Spiritual Energy was gone.

She seed to be dead.

However, Rod had not received the soul.

This indicated that she was not dead, but had used so thod to escape; otherwise, there would be at least one soul fragnt.

So far, there had been no exceptions.

A phantom floated up from the ground and positioned itself in front of him.

One of Rod’s hands was already tightly gripping the Undying Spirit, and the Eye of the Soul was operating at full capacity, peering into the ground.

A physical barrier deep enough was the only thing that could shield from the Eye of the Soul—she must have dived underground.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang from behind.

Rod was startled, turned around, and saw the phantom had blocked the Black Priest who appeared from nowhere behind him.

She was engulfed in black flas all over her body, and the Double-Headed Blade in her hand was also sared with Black Fire.

After her strike missed, her figure disappeared.

Even the Eye of the Soul could not see her.

Rod found it hard to believe. Ever since he learned to use Spiritual Vision, the Eye of the Soul had reached a complete state, and he had never encountered such a phenonon before.

Could she have so advanced invisibility ability?

But according to them, I am already a complete Spiritual Visionary. If I can’t see her, doesn’t that an she can roam freely in the Royal City?

Bang.

Another loud noise.

The phantom once again intercepted the sudden attack for him.

The Black Priest, having missed her attack, imdiately fled.

The phantom gave Rod a look that seed to contain a hint of reproach.

A thought occurred to Rod.

The phantom was intelligent; he knew that, although it seed unable to communicate with humans.

Was its gaze suggesting that I should be able to see?

Rod concentrated all his spirit, operating the Eye of the Soul with all his might, scanning the surroundings.

Indeed, this ti he saw fine, transparent ripples in the air, like those of an invisible fish swimming in water.

This was Rod’s first encounter with such a sight.

The Eye of the Soul could not see the essence of the spirit or the flow of energy, but only these ripples like the space itself.

He watched the ripples roam for a bit before it approached, moving toward his back, and then, without disturbing a sound, he switched his grip on the Spirit Gun, aiming it behind him.

As expected, the ripples intensified, and a figure erged from the air, her right arm raised high, the Double-Headed Blade flashing with Black Fire about to strike down.

Bang!

Rod fired. The Sealing Spirit Bullet directly disrupted her flow of Spiritual Energy, the Black Fire was extinguished, and she fell to the ground as if dropping from a great height, imdiately followed by a blow from a Magic Wand that sent her flying straight into the black curtain. A large mouthful of black blood sprayed from her mouth.

"You!"

The Black Priest finally spoke, her tone filled with intense resentnt.

"You wretched ant-like trash! I will make your life worse than death!"

Her expression suddenly changed, becoming charming and full of love.

"My sweet darling, why do you want to hurt ?"

The response to her was a Sealing Spirit Bullet. Although it did not harm her because she was prepared, it was like a slap across her face.

Rod sneered, "Could you not talk tough before switching faces? You can’t fool a pig that way."

The Black Priest’s entire face reddened, her expression filled with unspeakable rage and disbelief.

"Why, why are you immune to my pollution? This is unreasonable, this is impossible... You should be more easily attracted to ."

Rod laughed, "Please have so self-awareness, will you? With you being so ugly, a face so broad and flat, a nose so squashed and collapsed, a mouth that looks like it’s going to devour soone, a waist like a barrel, and a chest like a sack of flour, which man would be attracted to you? I look better in drag than you."

This was, of course, nonsense. The Black Priest was actually very beautiful, with a face like a lon seed, a straight nose, fine eyebrows, skin white as jade, a perky chest, and a perfect figure.

She should not have paid attention to such nonsense.

But as soon as Rod finished speaking, the Black Priest’s entire soul seed to explode, the boiling wave of Spiritual Energy nearly concealing her figure.

"Die!"

She scread fiercely, her voice losing all charm, like a female demon.

"I will have your life!"

Intense Black Fire erupted from her body once again as she charged furiously at Rod.

The phantom imdiately t her, fighting her head-on.

The sounds of weapons clashing beca continuous. Rod could no longer see their movents; the intense fluctuations of Spiritual Energy obscured everything.

Suddenly, Lauren’s voice ca from outside the curtain, "Hold on, Rod! We’re about to break through the barrier!"

There was urgency in the voice; clearly, they had noticed the fierce battle inside.

Rod turned his head to look. Outside the black curtain, only the shadows of Lauren and twelve team mbers were visible.

Clearly, the enemy had been defeated.

Lauren and the others were fiercely assaulting the black curtain.

A multitude of cracks had appeared on the curtain, and it seed like it would not take long to break through.

But the phantom could not hold on. The Black Priest had discovered that although the Desecration Light was useless against Rod, it could cause significant damage to the phantom.

Once again, she raised her filth, and the ominous brown light once again enveloped the area.

What was worse, Rod discovered he was affected this ti. Mysterious whispers erged in his mind, his Spiritual Energy not only slowed but also rapidly draining.

What was happening?

Rod panicked and quickly examined his entire body. Suddenly rembering sothing, he focused his gaze toward the numbers projected in his mind by the Obelisk.
