Now reading: Chapter 1445 - 698: Solar Resurrection3 from The Last King Of Darkness, a Eastern novel by Mountains and rivers have no memory.

Rod imdiately rembered, before he beca the Commander, he had already beco the master of the Ashen Throne.

According to Horus, human fate is gathering within his soul.

"Does it matter?"

Bossivale said with a big smile: "Of course it matters, you know, the True King is the god of humanity, and the greatest driving force behind Strong Source Ascension is human fortune. The most complete True King Ceremony requires sufficient human fortune."

"Fortunately, you have prepared well, each Fire Son has a corresponding Ashen Throne. Human fortune has gathered significantly within your souls, fully enough for this True King Ascension."

Rod hadn’t smiled yet when he heard Bossivale continue speaking.

"However, you need to personally join the ceremony; this way, not only is the success rate highest, but there’s also no risk of being hijacked."

Rod’s heart trembled: "What do you an? Can human fortune be hijacked?"

Bossivale said with a somber face: "Yes, the Ancient Evil Thought long ago devised ways to disrupt the True King ceremony. They hijack human fortune, interfering with its flow, thereby undermining Source Ascension and causing the ceremony to fail. Saint Reel has experienced this several tis, causing a great Monarch to perish during the True King ceremony."

Rod’s fist involuntarily clenched.

"What then?"

Bossivale’s tone softened: "Don’t worry, we’ve long established preventive asures. Since that ti, no similar incidents have occurred, so as long as you do as I say and thoroughly prepare before the True King ceremony, there won’t be any issue."

Rod relaxed but still felt downcast. He thought of the failed True King ceremony in Saint Reel, where the spotlighted Saint Heir fell tragically; it would be an appalling scene.

This sort of thing must not happen in Trolian.

Afterwards, Rod followed Bossivale to beneath the Royal City.

To be precise, it was a cathedral-like basent, very special, located directly below the "Silver Ring," with powerful Sealing Power enveloping the entire cathedral.

Only the most special individuals would be here, like the Thunder King Misha and Sun Knight Kai.

They utilize the "Silver Ring’s" power to seal souls, suppress corruption, and hinder collapse, yet it only alleviates. Without long-term Healing, eventually, it will lead to Destruction.

The two went unimpeded directly to the cathedral’s depths, where the lighting was dim, the atmosphere oppressive, the air filled with dampness and the sll of Potions, all around were white-robed Healing priests, eerie to behold.

But both of them were seasoned warriors, naturally fearless.

When Bossivale opened a heavy Stone Gate, Rod saw for the first ti the true form of the legendary Sun Knight.

It was a large circular room, everything was stone-made, yellow stones reflecting dim firelight, everything here seed trendously weighty.

Sun Knight Kai lay in the center stone coffin, surrounded by knights from his Knight Order, who, upon seeing Rod and Bossivale, bowed deeply and backed away.

Rod gazed towards the stone coffin that was filled with murky yellow liquid, the pungent dicinal air assaulting him.

And within the yellow liquid soaked a large mass of shapeless flesh.

Is this still human?

Rod couldn’t help but have such a thought arise.

That mass of flesh had deteriorated to the point where it didn’t resemble a living human, lifelessly lying in the stone coffin, strips of decaying at just connecting together, horrifying Pollution emanating from the flesh, murky yellow continually spreading from its interior.

The impact before him was even greater than he imagined, Rod slightly frowned; he had once attempted to Heal Sun Knight Kai but had not succeeded, nor seen his true form.

Sun Knight Kai usually had a Puppet replacent to represent him at major Trolian events, that Puppet appeared wax yellow.

Rod had initially thought all Puppets were like that, but now perhaps they were perated by the Sun Knight’s Pollution.

"Is that Bossivale?"

A murky voice arose from the mass of flesh, Sun Knight Kai appeared to have awakened.

"Thanks for coming to see again. I might not have much life left; Amig Demon’s venom is too potent, even Lord Theodore is helpless. Please don’t waste any more ti; your ti is our strength, it’s very precious."

The surrounding Guard Knights displayed sorrowful expressions, these were the earliest fighters at Sun Knight’s side, the Sun Knight’s Battle Group, much like Rod’s Black Battle Group.

And at this mont, they knew their master, their leader, was at the brink.

This legendary Trolian Knight, his life was reaching its end.

Bossivale smiled slightly: "Kai, maybe soon, I will see the spectacular sight of the sun rising."

Kai’s voice contained a trace of surprise: "Have you found a way?"

"No, it’s not I who found it, it’s Rod."

Upon hearing this na, Kai’s voice showed a hint of joy: "Is it him? Has he co?"

Rod stepped forward: "It is I, Lord Kai, I have brought the miracle life creation of body reconstitution, it can give you a new body, completely freeing you from corruption and curse, and restore the damaged body."
