Rod vaguely felt a slight overheating in his soul, reminiscent of the sensation when he was weaker and entered the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground—
He was not a chosen of the fire, neither rejected nor embraced by it. Approaching the fire brought a stinging heat, but after growing stronger, this feeling seldom occurred; even during the last ti he stepped into the Holy Fire, there was no such discomfort.
"Book, do you know what’s happening?"
The Book of Knowledge replied: "Master, the power of the Holy Fire in the Spirit Realm is entirely undiminished, in a fully radiant state, whereas in the Material World it is restrained and controlled by the King Artifact... Of course, the more significant reason is the fusion with the third Holy Fire Seed, far stronger now, even if you have stepped into the realm of the True King, without any protection, you would still be slightly affected."
Rod nodded, slightly raised his Spiritual Energy, and the overheating sensation vanished instantly.
It seems the Holy Fire does not consider an enemy.
Rod thought to himself as he looked around. The area near the Holy Fire was illuminated by golden light, pure Spirit Realm substance flowing through, a sense of serenity, peace, and clarity arose spontaneously.
This might be the original Spirit Realm. In such a realm, Rod felt no discomfort, not corroding his flesh nor invading his soul.
However, the distance of the golden light’s radiation was not far, roughly only several tens of thousands of yards, even less than the Holy Fire’s own length. Beyond this distance, the Spirit Realm beca chaotic again, filled with dangerous and corrosive air, pollution lurking under the semi-transparent Spirit Realm substance and gray gas, causing horror and dread.
Though there was no Black Fog, Rod knew that Black Fog was just a common term, its essence being a kind of indestructible, eternal pollution or curse, the black fog in the Material World rely an outward manifestation.
The Book of Knowledge had once told him that the pollution in the Spirit Realm far surpassed that in the Material World.
Now it was clear, without a doubt, the third stage Holy Fire in the Spirit Realm could only illuminate a range of tens of thousands of yards, whereas in Trolian, the direct illumination range exceeded several million yards, the indirect influence even greater.
"Did you see it?"
The King spoke softly.
"That extraordinary pollution."
Rod gazed afar and indeed saw tiny black dots; it was a dense, sticky darkness, like rotting corpse water, slowly writhing in the Spirit Realm.
This pollution made him extrely uncomfortable, a nauseating feeling rising from the depths of his heart.
"Is this pollution from the starry sky?"
Rod asked incredulously.
"This feeling, even when facing the Source Black Fog, wasn’t as.... What exactly is it?"
The King replied solemnly: "I suspect it’s a condensation of countless deaths within the Source Black Fog, an ancient and decayed air, as if countless once-great souls rotted in the Black Fog over millennia, forming this massive pollution."
"Are you sure it’s from the starry sky?"
"Of course, I can sense the subtle celestial aura within, that mysterious, distant, grand, deep fragrance. It’s pollution from the starry sky, and it has descended."
Rod concentrated, but couldn’t perceive the aura the King spoke of.
The King explained: "Young Rod, this is one of my Special Abilities, my Super Sensing, not a scent detected by the nose."
Rod looked at him in surprise: "King, how do you have so many Special Abilities?"
The King smiled faintly: "My Source Law is the Eternal Burning Fire, as you know, it is exceptionally unique; unique to the degree that, for a Dual Source Law owner, if one of the Source Laws is Eternal Burning Fire, then it equals the single Source Law owner. In the soul, different Source Laws are repulsive, which is why before Bossivale arrived, warriors of the Starfire Series found it difficult to step into the realm of the Commander."
"Even though he brought a complete Starfire Series advancent system, the Commander upgraded from Starfire must carefully maintain the balance between Fire Spark Source Laws, but Eternal Burning Fire does not repel any Source Law, allowing it to coexist perfectly."
"I can hardly describe the sensation in words. When my Spiritual Energy forms fire through the Source Law of Eternal Burning Fire, if I follow a special trajectory, I can mimic the effects of other Source Laws, which is essentially why Eternal Burning Fire can utilize other Source Laws."
The King flicked his fingers lightly, sunlight, moonlight, starlight jumped from his fingertips, swirling and rotating around him.
"But in most cases, you can only perform crude imitation. To truly make it effective, diligent training is required to grasp the knack and thod of use; both my telepathy and Super Sensing originated this way."
At that mont, a phrase flashed in Rod’s mind.

The King seed aware of his thoughts, smiled: "It’s not as easy as you think either, mastering another ability proficiently is challenging, requiring extensive training, and their Strength can only be at most one level lower than the Eternal Burning Fire.
