"How long?"
"The longer, the better!"
Rod laughed, "I got it."
He flipped the Book of Knowledge out with a backhand.
"Ahhhhhhhh!"
The Book of Knowledge instantly let out a shrill scream, the pages flipping wildly, as if trying to cover itself, but while it could cover the top, it couldn’t cover the bottom.
Rod smiled and moved his fingers to pry it open, "Stop covering, you’re not human."
"Ahhhhhhhh!"
The Book of Knowledge frantically scurried around in his palm, like a pure young girl suddenly stripped of her clothes.
Rod didn’t expect such a big reaction from the book and was about to send it back when, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed an overwhelming blackness rushing toward him.
It was countless Black Fog Symbionts.
Not only that, innurable black shadows erged from the air, just as they had in the Spirit Realm, rapidly engulfing the world, forming a different kind of black tide, pressing in on Rod from all directions.
"Ah, does it work so well?"
Rod raised his eyebrows in surprise, unleashing his Spiritual Energy to its fullest, surprisingly extending a tenth black tentacle.
The ten tentacles flailed wildly like a roulette, and for so reason, Rod felt an innate capability to manipulate them. Each tentacle was extrely agile under his control, as if ten people were controlling them, yet they coordinated seamlessly as if these ten people were conjoined twins.
Every move of the tentacles was vastly different from humans, but Rod used them with ease. This overwhelming black tide couldn’t breach the tentacles’ defense and was all shoved into the Teleportation Gate.
Facing so many Black Fog Symbionts, the King also got a bit more serious. Golden flas flashed at high speed within the Fla Giant Sword, greatly enhancing its form and temperature. The mighty sword, cutting through, burned even the thickest cluster of Black Fog Symbionts to ashes in an instant.
This unprecedentedly terrifying battle stunned everyone.
Horus ordered everyone to retreat, only warriors at the Monarch level or above could approach the battlefield to assist Rod as best as possible.
After an unknown amount of ti, the black tide ford by the Black Fog Symbionts finally ca to an end.
Rod imdiately shut down the Teleportation Gate, as keeping it open for so long consud an astronomical amount of Spiritual Energy. Luckily, he had already stepped into the realm of a True King, otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to hold out.
Rod then dispelled the tentacles, ending the form of the God of Giants, and sent the Book of Knowledge back to the Dream Realm.
"Boohoohoo, I’m finally back. Bad master, I won’t bother with you again!"
The Book of Knowledge lay completely sprawled on the ground, pages spread out, disheveled, as if it had gone through an inhumane ravaging.
The doll ca over, closed it, and put it back on the shelf, "Adorlis, you should rest a bit first."
"Boohoohoo, Aphro, you’re still the best."
The doll didn’t reply, sat cross-legged, and went back into ditation. It was recently using this thod to recover mories and awaken its combat instincts.
Frontline battlefield.
Rod and everyone else together eliminated the remaining scattered Black Fog Symbionts, and the battlefield imdiately cleared up, allowing them to continue advancing.
The black fog density in the entire area dropped a notch, and the area illuminated by the flas extended very far.
Reports from investigators ca back saying they could even see the Shattered Mountains—that was the border of Saint Reel.
Once they crossed the Shattered Mountains, they would formally enter Saint Reel.
Everyone understood the imnse benefits of inheriting the legacy of this Kingdom which had persisted for eighteen hundred years.
Cheers echoed throughout the battlefield, everyone calling out Rod and the King’s nas, hailing the fire for safeguarding humanity’s rise. At this mont, they sincerely believed that nothing could stop them.
