Olivia said softly, "The Ancient City was this fallen Ancient God’s Divine Country. When He fell, it completely collapsed as well and turned to ashes."
Kai muttered, "So this is the source of the weirdness?"
Horus laughed. "Why not? The four True Gods may possess more Root Origin, but they’re not necessarily stronger than us."
Olivia swept her gaze around. On all sides were barren ground and mountains. The whole Space was less than a hundred thousand yards across. At the edge, Space twisted; one step beyond and they would return to the gray fog, unable to co back in.
"Strange, I don’t see corrupted Humanity, Divine Stone, Divine Source Material. Those filthy chunks of flesh also don’t seem to have anything to do with ’God’s flesh and blood’."
At this mont, the Dark Moon Princess suddenly shouted, "Underground, there’s more Space underground."
Everyone was startled and imdiately flew downward.
Sure enough, beneath the deep pit there was an even vaster underground Space.
Horus said excitedly, "The secret must be hidden here! Let’s split up and explore."
"No." Kai said, "We’ll explore together first. Don’t split up, in case we run into danger."
What Kai said made a lot of sense. In such a bizarre area, even a True King ran the risk of falling.
The five of them flew together toward the depths.
The underground Space was vast and deep, like an Abyss with no end.
The deeper they flew, the broader the surrounding Space beca. The air was filled with all sorts of rotten odors. The Black Fog grew denser, and the disturbance from the firelight made it extrely restless, constantly roiling around the five of them.
Before long, Rod’s vision dimd. A soaring reek of Pollution swept over him, and a terrifying, fernted stench of corruption blasted straight into his nostrils.
He lowered his head and saw a scene that shocked him to the core.
It was an incomparably enormous lake filled with a yellow-brown mixture. It was unimaginably wide and vast, its end nowhere in sight.
That yellow-brown filth churned in the lake, extending all the way into the unseen distance.
"Corrupted Humanity!"
In the Dream Realm, the Book of Knowledge, which was operating the Star Platform, also noticed its master’s situation.
"All of this is precipitated Corrupted Humanity! Do not touch it under any circumstances! You will completely lose your reason in an instant and go mad, go berserk!"
Rod imdiately relayed the Book of Knowledge’s warning to them, and added, "This must be where the monsters with the Mad Crown aura are born."
Horus nodded. Bright Light turned into his five senses, sweeping in a circle around him, but he found no monsters.
Kai asked doubtfully, "Did they spontaneously erge in this pool of Corrupted Humanity, or were they produced by that fallen Ancient God above?"
Olivia pondered. "But then, where are the God’s flesh and blood, the Divine Source Material, and the Divine Stones?"
Horus said with certainty, "They must be nearby. Let’s look around!"
The Dark Moon Princess said softly, "Above us, there’s still a great Space above us. This is the lowest level."
Everyone lifted their heads, and sure enough, they saw a new path in the distance.
Rod glanced at her, thinking that this guy’s sense of Space was pretty good.
They flew over the pool of Corrupted Humanity and headed in that direction. Soon, they arrived at a new area. This region was even larger, and the ground was covered in massive brown-black stone blocks that were clearly not naturally ford.
The instant he arrived here, Rod’s heart jolted.
Wasn’t this exactly the scene he had seen on the Heavenly Sphere Clock?
Though not perfectly identical, the style was exactly the sa.
At this mont, the Heavenly Sphere Clock also completed its link and sent Rod the coordinates of the Dream Fragnt.
Rod snapped his head around. The Dream Fragnt was deeper in!
Just then, Horus also found a piece of Divine Source Material and a Divine Stone nearby. They were wrapped in the legendary "God’s flesh and blood", forming the shape of a heart.
"Over here!" he shouted. "This must be the area where the mad monsters are born!"
Olivia said in a deep voice, "Exactly. That fallen Ancient God must be the one creating them, and the raw materials co from here!"
Horus said excitedly, "There must be more here! Let’s split up and search!"
This suggestion was imdiately agreed upon by the others, and Kai could only warn, "Be extrely careful. Don’t go too far from each other. If you encounter anything unknown, call for help at once."
After confirming that Spiritual Communication was working smoothly, the five of them split off in five directions to explore deeper in.
Rod also sped off toward the direction of the Dream Fragnt.
