Dream Realm.
Much ti had passed, and the light of the Star Tower was nearly extinguished, yet the awakening of the Eye of Divine was not complete.
This had never happened before, and the Book of Knowledge almost believed its master would fail, but unexpectedly, it saw him erge from the Star Tower at the last mont.
The glow of the Eye of Divine flickered in the Dream Realm, and it was now fully awakened. This was the third Giant Star awakened by the master, marking his possession of the strength of 7 Root Origins from this mont on.
"Master, you finally erged. I thought you were going to fail... What happened to you? Why did it take so long?"
The Book of Knowledge excitedly flipped its pages, leaping onto Rod’s shoulder, continuously touching his cheek with its pages to confirm the star’s power shimring within his soul.
Rod smiled, lifting the book away by its spine.
"There was a minor incident, but I resolved it with unparalleled wisdom. No need to worry."
Despite his words, he detailed the events encountered in the Dream Realm to the Book of Knowledge, especially the odd mbrane sensation in the Illusion Realm.
The Book of Knowledge jumped down, leaning against Rod’s feet, flipping its pages unconsciously.
"Master, the Illusion Realm in the Star Tower is very special and cannot be simply regarded as an illusion. It is a fragnt of ti and space, a relic of the years, and an infinite echo of past wills... Perhaps this is why the Star Tower cannot fully replicate the power of the supre quasi-king and the strongest Holy Fire. Their power is too imnse, almost touching the divine, hence your feeling of strangeness."
Rod nodded, not minding too much, as long as he could awaken a star.
The Book of Knowledge paused and said: "As for the distortion of the Illusion Realm, I have a feeling it is so deterioration of the Black Fog, attempting to influence the entire river of ti, twisting every human victory into failure, dragging the already dwindling fla towards the Abyss."
Rod’s heart sank, and unwittingly, a sense of urgency gripped him again.
"I must quickly retrieve the fragnts of the Dream Realm."
Rod thought.
"Once a few more Half-King levels erge in Trolian, I can go to another Ancestor’s Grave and seek out Giant King Omir."
With his thoughts settled, he left the Dream Realm directly.
Royal City.
When Rod opened his eyes again, twelve clock hours had passed, taking him from the noon of the first day to the morning of the second.
The duration so long enough for Trolian’s defenses to collapse thrice. This is precisely why he hadn’t awakened the Eye of Divine imdiately, choosing instead to seek assistance from Saint Longde.
Undoubtedly, this decision was incredibly correct.
"Hey, it seems my wisdom has grown along with my power."
Rod stood up, walked out of the room, and was about to leave the Royal City when he unexpectedly t Rhein.
The water-like Spiritual Energy around him had dispersed, revealing his features clearly — a slightly weathered yet sharp face, eyebrows like swords, cheeks like carvings, with peculiar drifting black hair, wearing pale white armor, no weapons, yet the hand armor on his hands remained grim and prominent.
"That should be his Soul Weapon," Rod thought, noticing the faint Soul Ripple on his hand armor.
The puppet in the Dream Realm remarked: "Master, he just returned from the eastern line. While you were awakening the star, Trolian faced three waves of attacks from the east, southeast, and southwest, summing over ten thousand Black Fog Symbionts and 32 Black Fog Avatars attacked us. Rhein alone defended two lines, while Tai Luo, Olivia, Dark Moon, and various Monarchs held another line."
When Rod returned to the Dream Realm, he had long summoned a phantom, letting the puppet possess it to assist the Royal City’s Military War Departnt in commanding.
During the Human Demon War, Dalen and the personnel of the Military War Departnt knew Rod’s phantom possessed formidable commanding abilities and wisdom beyond reach, with intuition sharp to the point of fear, so everyone trusted it deeply, leaving all battle situations to it while they rely cooperated and assisted.
This thod was extrely convenient. Not only could the puppet exert its full potential, but Rod could also instantly comprehend the overall situation, facilitating his next step of judgnt.
"Lord Rhein."
Rod politely bowed in greeting.
"You’ve worked hard, Trolian will never forget your glory."
Rhein’s expression was solemn, his sharp gaze on Rod, before he finally said: "Lord Rod, you’ve grown stronger."
Rod was surprised and asked, "You noticed?"
Rhein slightly nodded, "As soon as I returned, I sensed a new disturbance in the Royal City. Just now, I ca to see, and it was indeed you. In just one day, the Root Origin you command surged from 5 to 7, and your fundantal Spiritual Power Strength leaped from 15 million ke to nearly 20 million ke."
Rod laughed, "Indeed, Life of Man is like that. I often grow stronger after a nap; perhaps, my ability is to grow stronger while sleeping."
Rhein laughed faintly, his expression holding a subtly intriguing look.
"Lord Rod, I heard from Emperor Qingyu that you plan to travel?"
Rod nodded. He had already ntioned this to Qingyu, besides the puppet’s phantom, he had left several phantoms in the Royal City. If any unexpected situation arose, and it was inconvenient for him to return, he could project power into these phantoms.
