Along the way, Rod had been constantly using "Awakening," and the already restless Void grew even more furious, with the breath of destruction rapidly approaching.
But the people beneath and behind him knew nothing, only his soul could feel it.
Co to think of it, it was indeed incredible. What exactly is the Void, why is it angry, and how does it work? Rod knew none of these, only that he could use it this way.
"Hopefully there won’t be any side effects."
Rod thought to himself.
He looked around, and all he saw was a desolate wasteland, the ground full of pits and uneven terrain, with nothing but scattered stones.
Such a barren wasteland was the most common terrain in the Black Fog, desolate, open, and dead silent, sending shivers down one’s spine.
It wasn’t that monsters filled every corner of the Black Fog; so areas were quite open. But openness didn’t an safety—the monsters that slept underground and those that wandered aimlessly could all pose lethal threats.
But Rod had the Eye of the Soul, a vision range of two thousand yards allowed him to avoid most dangers.
Anna dashed rapidly across the wasteland, the uneven terrain not hindering her at all, her speed even faster than before, the hard training had not been in vain.
A quarter of an hour later, Rod saw the Demon Tide.
When he saw its scale, he couldn’t help but take a sharp intake of breath.
As far as the eye could see, there were endless monsters, like a furious sea throwing up colossal waves.
Looking closely, the Aries Demons stood six yards tall, with stout figures, long and thick arms, shorter legs, completely black except for the white horns on their heads, no wonder they were called "Aries."
Their Spiritual Power Waves fluctuated slightly, indeed around the Middle Rank Mature Level, but their sheer numbers made up for everything.
Rod was slightly worried, for the range of his Void’s Fury was only five hundred yards. Though he was now stronger and borrowed more Spiritual Energy, he estimated that the impact range would not exceed a thousand yards.
According to the size on the Spiritual Energy Imaging Instrunt, the width of this monster group was over ten thousand yards, and at least forty thousand yards in length.
Rod asked, "phit, with the monster group this large, can you gather them together?"
phit answered briefly, "Yes."
Rod let out a breath and laughed, "Just as expected from you."
He dismounted and sat down on the spot.
"Gather the monsters around as much as possible. As long as we can eliminate the main body of the monsters, I can take care of the rest one by one without letting them split up."
phit nodded, took a light leap, flew a few hundred yards away, and disappeared into the Black Fog in a blink.
Rod patted Anna, "Find a safe place to hide, and co to pick up phit after the invisible explosion ends."
Anna raised her hooves and also dashed off, quickly running out of sight.
Rod took a deep breath and focused on wildly using "Awakening."
anwhile, in the unseen distance, three Chief Judges who had taken cover were closely monitoring everything.
Their Decree-long sight allowed them to project their vision further, allowing them to see further away, thus adding to their confusion.
"What is he doing?"
"That taboo bearer is rushing towards the monster horde on his own; he doesn’t think phit alone can kill so many, does he?"
Levill let out a sneer.
"Impossible, unless the King himself descends."
"What is he waiting for then? For the legendary Primordial Fire to fall from the sky and burn this world to ashes?"
Amoli laughed, "Isn’t that even better? If he seeks death here, it will save us the trouble. Once Rod dies, Star Town won’t stand a chance at a coback."
"Right, and it would be a suicide, not our fault."
"Don’t celebrate too early," said Krama. "Star Town, the Underground City to the east, all were cleared in an incomprehensible manner. He might be planning to use the sa trick again."
Levill scoffed coldly, "Useless, this is not on the sa magnitude. The Underground City nest was just a few thousand Abnormal Demons, half of Star Town has been cleared, and not many monsters are left. His strange thod has a very small range and does not even make up one percent of the monster tide."
Krama fell silent.
This endless Aries Demon horde indeed did not look like sothing that could be destroyed by a single explosion.

They all looked sowhat uneasy. They had all witnessed the power of the Calamity Curse. After clearing an area, sotis the Royal City would send phit there to activate the Calamity Curse to eliminate all lurking threats.
No matter how well hidden, monsters that had been dormant underground for thousands of years would appear due to the Calamity Curse.
Powerful and terrifying monsters continuously erged from the earth, a scene that looked as if they were cursed by the world itself. Everyone who had co in contact with phit dreaded her, no one wanted to be near this ominous person.
Of course, there were exceptions.
Amoli snorted coldly, "This kid is really not afraid of death."
"Maybe he’s bewitched by that woman’s curse," Levill said coldly, "She is a disaster. I really don’t understand why the King left her alive. It would be best if she died here too."
Suddenly, Krama said, "She won’t be trying to lead the Demon Horde away, will she?"
The other two’s complexions suddenly darkened, Amoli said, "The Aries Demon horde has already entered the influence range of the Guardian Fire, as soon as the consecutive Fire Day and Moon Day end, the Aries Demons will attack Star Town on their own, and the surrounding monsters will do the sa."
Levill said, "The Calamity Curse can’t even do this, phit’s strength is only between a Fifth Level or Fourth Level combatant, and her Spiritual Power Strength isn’t particularly high, plus she will draw out even more monsters lurking underground, this is simply seeking death."

A vast number of monsters began to follow her, like a tide drawn by so mysterious force.
More and more monsters joined this tide, and its range was rapidly expanding.
Suddenly, she leapt into the air, spread her arms, and an invisible ripple spread at the speed of light, affecting the entire monster horde, countless Aries Demons soared into the air, flying towards her, that dense mass like an endless swarm of black locusts.
She abruptly rushed towards Rod, with the overwhelming black surge trailing behind her like a long, black train of a gown.
The three instantly rejoiced, "They are seeking their own deaths!"
Rod imdiately rejoiced, "Good! Worthy of being my best partner!"
The boundless black mass condensed together, and countless monsters flew at him, Rod stood tall, and laughed, "Co then, phit!"
The Void stirred in the soul, an Awakening that could hardly be delayed another half second, this signified that the Void’s Fury had reached its final stage.
It was about to erupt.
All of you monsters, be Devoured by the Void, use your souls to pay off my debt.
Hahahahahaha.
Rod laughed wildly, spreading his arms, but phit passed directly over his head, and an Aries Demon lunged into his embrace.
If he had not opened his Spiritual Defense in ti, the Void would have co prematurely.
"Damn!"
Rod summoned his Spiritual Energy, warding off the Aries Demon’s claws, and punched through its body with a backhand punch.
Mature Level monsters were now no match for him.
The Aries Demon hit the ground, its fragnted body breaking into countless pieces, but quickly edged back together into two smaller Aries Demons, the filthy Abyssal Aura gusting towards him, turning the ground damp and profound.
"This thing is really troubleso."
Rod thought, controlling his power, pierced through the Aries Demon’s Spiritual Defense with one blow, his hand glowing with Spiritual Light, he reached into its Soul Void and shredded its soul.
The Aries Demon turned to ash, not splitting again.
Soul Blast is truly the eternal God!
Rod fought the Aries Demons with all his might while ceaselessly using Awakening, and the overwhelming tide of monsters soon subrged him, with the black torrent rolling by, unstoppable by a single individual.
But Rod was not alone.
Indiscriminate use of Awakening to pay off the debt incurred by the previous Awakening made the hole created by the expended Spiritual Energy grow bigger and bigger.
After delaying for a long period, it finally burst forth like thunder.
An Aries Demon pounced, tearing apart Rod, who had completely lost his Spiritual Defense.
But sothing even more terrifying erupted from the point of his death.
Space began to warp, a massive Soul Void crazily Devouring all nearby souls, countless Aries Demons instantly turned to nothingness, not even leaving crumbs behind, a vast hole erged in the middle of the black tide, with monsters continuously rushing into it and vanishing into thin air.
Yet the tide was so imnse that only a small part was being Devoured.
phit turned again, charging straight into the Void.
Monsters receded with her, following her into the Void and disappearing in an instant.
But phit was unaffected, the raging Void passed by her like a gentle breeze, showing its hideous face only when it encountered monsters, ripping them apart and Devouring them.
phit stood in the very center of the Void, in the sa spot where Rod had been standing, watching as monsters from all sides rushed towards her, only to be torn apart by the invisible force and vanish into thin air.
The boundless blackness poured into a bottomless hole, and she stood above this Void, like an uncrowned Queen.
The three onlookers in the distance and the eyes lurking in the dark were all stunned.
This was a scene they had never seen nor imagined in their lifetis.
The incredibly troubleso monsters dissolved into thin air like instant tea powder, with the seemingly invincible Aries Demon horde effortlessly eliminated before their eyes.
Not just souls, not even the ashes of their bodies were left behind.
"What... what is this?" Fear trembled in Amoli’s voice for the first ti.
Krama’s eyes were nearly bulging out, his voice full of incredulous fear, "This cannot be Theodore’s ability, he doesn’t have such Magic, Theodore’s last Soul Ripple was fake, this is the kid’s own ability!"
Levill said coldly, "This is definitely not a common technique, otherwise the Royal City would have killed the ancient evils and the Big Horror Demons to the south long ago, and the Blood Demons in the Dead Forest wouldn’t have survived until now."
Amoli quivered, "So what do we do now?"
Levill fell silent for a mont, his expression grim.
