Molly was very dissatisfied.
Now, a long ti had passed since the Dark Tide, and the Royal City had long since returned to its normal State.
However, what was worriso was that, under this continuous good weather, pressure from all places had not eased but was instead intensifying.
This was against the norm, for generally after the Dark Tide ended, Trolian’s defenses would be in a declining state for a considerable length of ti, which made the current situation highly abnormal.
It was understandable for the Elder Council to hastily conclude their examination.
What truly dissatisfied Molly was that they seed to think Rod’s Victory was a common occurrence, and they gave Star Town a very close deadline to clean up all areas so that so of the Combatants could be returned to the Royal City.
This approach made Molly very angry.
As everyone knew, the deep red hazardous areas of the Isone Ruins required extre caution and careful handling when clearing in the Dark World.
Just because Black Water Swamp could be taken down in one day did not an that the Isone Ruins could be conquered within a day.
Molly had already planned a three-month sche, but the Elder Council demanded that they clean up the ruins within a month.
Molly, of course, couldn’t agree; she had already sent ssages to Lord Dalin and the Archbishop, arguing her case forcefully, requesting the Elder Council change their orders.
Therefore, at this ti, she really needed the support of these two King Candidates.
Molly briefly went over the matter, and the three people promised to help without hesitation.
Velas said, "This is not just a matter of stance, it concerns the interests of the entire human population of Trolian."
Vivian agreed, "The existence of Star Town should not be disturbed by any external force. The Elder Council can’t use the best results of one battle to set the standard."
Aro said, " too."
The three people swiftly reached a consensus, which delighted Molly.
"Thank you all. I will convey your goodwill to Lord Rod," she said.
Velas replied with a polite smile, "It’s a small matter, please don’t dwell on it."
Vivian said, "It’s our duty to work towards a better future for all of Trolian’s human population."
Aro added, "I feel the sa."
That was settled then.
Afterward, the four of them walked a few more rounds on the temporary defense line and handled so issues regarding the defenses.
Just as they were about to say goodbye and part ways, Aro suddenly called out.
"Where is Lord Rod? Why haven’t I seen him all along the way?"
Upon saying this, the three of them suddenly awakened to a realization.
They had been to every temporary bonfire in Black Water Swamp; it was impossible not to have encountered Rod.
Velas pondered, "Did he return to Star Town?"
Molly shook her head, "Impossible."
Vivian said sowhat anxiously, "Shall we look for him?"
Upon searching, they found that not only was Rod missing, but phit and Anna were also nowhere to be found.
The three looked at each other with odd expressions, as they clearly had so rather unpleasant conjectures.
But Molly didn’t quite believe it.
"Perhaps they went to observe the nearby monsters. Anna moves very quickly, and phit has the Freezing ability," she suggested.
All of a sudden, Aro said, "Couldn’t they have gone to the Isone Ruins?"
"Impossible!" Velas categorically denied, "The Isone Ruins are to the west, not only far but also very dangerous."
Aro spit back, "What do you know! Maybe Little Rod has already flattened the Isone Ruins."
Velas scoffed, "Has your brain gone into your chest? Not to ntion other monsters, how would they deal with the Chaos Demon? It’s the trickiest monster, even if Lord Jon himself ca, it would take a long ti."
Vivian comnted, "Right, let’s leave it to Lord Jon. Your sister Qingyu might not even be a match for a Demon!"
Aro snapped back, "Nonsense! You guys are talking nonsense! Not to ntion Sister Qingyu, Little Rod could kill it too, with no need for your greasy n to lift a finger!"
Velas retorted with a cold laugh, "Although Lord Rod is indeed Strong, he hasn’t been around long enough to reach such a level, and he’s not brainless like you, probably just out for materials."
Vivian spoke up, "I dare say, Lord Rod definitely didn’t go to the Isone Ruins..."
Boom!
A thunderous explosion that pierced the heavens resounded, and the fierce burst of Thunder Light was clearly visible even from such a distance.
When the Thunder Light fell, all four stood there dumbstruck.
Aro was no exception. Despite her words, she did not truly believe Rod had gone there.
"What... what is this?"
Molly suddenly realized, "Thunder Stones, he detonated the one million Thunder Stones!"
Everyone was astonished, witnessing for the first ti in their lives the scene of one million Thunder Stones exploding simultaneously.
It was also a first in human history.
The faces of everyone wavered, and suddenly Aro said, "The Chaos Demon wouldn’t be dead, would it?"
Velas promptly objected, "Impossible, a Chaos Demon is extrely formidable, with very high defensive power. Even one million Thunder Stones can’t kill it."
Suddenly, soone else shouted, "Look, what’s that?"
The four looked up to see, within the boundless expanse of darkness, a cloud of black dust enveloping the sky and rushing toward them, causing so panic.
But the four did not move.
Molly said softly, "That’s the dispersing darkness. Considering the scale, the Chaos Demon is already dead."
