Tyrion was taken aback montarily before he rembered that Rod, as a Trolian hero, Captain of the King’s Hand, Defender of Star Town, and a reserve Elder, possessed his own unique Battle Group.
According to general rules, his Battle Group would join him in battle.
But Rod was only a reserve mber of the Hall, without the qualifications to lead people into the Fire Hall.
So when he received the mission and had to set out urgently, he did not bring his Battle Group comrades with him.
But Rod had already been in the Trident River Region for many days; why hadn’t they arrived?
Tyrion imdiately sent a Spiritual Communication to the higher command to inquire.
But the higher command didn’t know either and could only continue to pass the inquiry up the chain.
Thus, the query went all the way up to the Royal City until the head of the Military War Departnt personally intervened to clarify the situation.
Rod’s Black Battle Group included the taboo phit.
To prevent phit from joining the battle, Silver Oath’s Taboo Armant had interrupted the Battle Group’s dispatch procedure.
Although Tyrion did not know phit, he knew about Taboo Armants.
They were not ordinary entities.
Taboo Armants were powerful and dangerous, only to be deployed in the most urgent situations; not even one had arrived in such a dire Trident River Region.
Tyrion was both shocked and thrilled – he had not expected Rod’s Battle Group to house such an entity. Even the Battle Groups of those high-profile figures did not include the likes of Taboo Armants.
This was an exception.
For them, this was a rare piece of good fortune – the Trident River Region would gain new reinforcents.
Thinking of this, he imdiately put in effort, joining forces with First Commander Herman, to pressure the Silver Oath Taboo Armant in the na of the Military War Departnt.
Initially, the leader of the Taboo Armant took a hard stance, regarding phit as an extrely dangerous person. With the Sealing Curse no longer effective, she was deed unsuitable for this kind of warfare; if she were to lose control, it could lead to catastrophic disaster.
Tyrion scoffed at this, believing that the prophecy of destruction was nonsense, a rumor spread by Doomsday believers to undermine Troli.
The one who had proposed the prophecy, Iyeta, had denied it, so on what basis could others believe it to be true?
Neither side could persuade the other on this point.
First Commander Herman cleverly shifted the battlefield, arguing that since phit had joined the Black Battle Group, her control fell to Rod, and thus he should be responsible for everything.
The Taboo Armant had no right to interfere with the actions of a Battle Group belonging to a Trolian hero, and therefore could not stop her from any action.
This was a heavy blow to the Taboo Armant.
The Leader found it difficult to argue, only reiterating phit’s dangerous nature, claiming that his actions were for the sake of Troli and the safety of tens of thousands of warriors in the Trident River Region.
But such explanations were feeble and bordered on alarmist, receiving no support from the Elders, let alone various Commanders and Defense Chiefs.
As a result, the dispatch orders were quickly approved, and the Royal City sent a Spiritual Energy carriage to transport Anna and phit from Star Town.
Molly stayed behind to oversee the defenses of Star Town and did not accompany them.
Of course, Rod had not intended to transfer her over initially: fighting day and night was too taxing on the back, and Molly’s advantage wasn’t in her battle prowess – even if transferred, she could at most serve as a Possession Spirit to speed him up, nowhere near as effective as her role in Star Town.
The Spiritual Ability carriage was highly efficient, reaching the No. 20 Lighthouse on the sa day.
After many days, Rod saw Anna and phit again.
It was Anna’s first participation in such a high-level battle mission, and she was very excited.
phit was wrapped up snugly, showing only a sliver of her eyes.
Rod knew at a glance that she was in her dicine Woman state, unwilling to reveal her face.
"Here."
She handed over a large box, her tone as cold as ever.
"These are the materials from this period, including three Resurrection Stones, four Ghost Shells, six Kales Magic Stones, two hundred sticks of Puppet Wood, one thousand portions of the highest-grade Corrosive Material..."
Rod received the box, laughing, "You’ve worked hard, phit."
phit did not speak, but after Rod had advanced her a thousand weeks of salary, she no longer had a reason to charge; she had to produce the materials for him for free.
Cilly curiously observed the two new won.
After a glance, she dismissed Anna.
The woman looked okay, but her figure was too lacking, indistinguishable from a washboard.
She then dismissed phit, who was wrapped up so tightly she must be hiding severe ugliness.
Otherwise, why not show her face?
Heh heh heh, Little Rod was surely still single.
But Lannis did not pay much attention to this matter because a larger Spiritual Sensing device had arrived.
First Commander Herman inford them that the battlefields on both flanks had nearly collapsed due to the massive surges of Demonized Ants, and they had to undertake a far more arduous task – to buy breathing room for the rear, or else the entire eastern battlefield would collapse.
Their mission was extrely challenging.
The range of the new Spiritual Sensing device surpassed expectations.
The No. 20 Lighthouse was now blocking more than half of the eastern battlefield, shouldering three tis the pressure it had before.
Even so, the command had not sent a single reinforcent; First Commander Herman bluntly inford them that the situation was bad in every area except for the No. 20 Lighthouse.
No wonder Lord Tyrion and Lord Herman were so eager to send Rod’s Battle Group over.
