In the six days that followed, Rod deeply understood why the Dream Realm had beco the greatest threat from the Black Fog.
The Spirit Realm Strike was simply invincible.
Its power was imnse, with hardly any monster able to withstand a single blow.
Its range was extrely long, capable of striking from the upper Spirit Realm all the way to the inner Spirit Realm. So far, Rod had not encountered any monster that appeared beyond its reach.
Most importantly, it never missed, never failing even once.
The only thing that could limit it was the line of sight.
If the Star Core could not observe the monster, it could not lock onto the target.
The vision of the Star Core itself had certain limitations; it could not see monsters that were too far away, too weak, or in a state of dormant quiescence.
Generally, the view of the Star Core could not cross domains, unless the Spirit Realm Monster was locked by the Star Mark or was engaged in intense activity, radiating bright with Spiritual Energy.
For instance, when battling, crossing Position barriers, or invading the Main Material World.
The latter point was particularly crucial.
It helped Rod discover many Spirit Realm Monsters that were invading Trolian, so of which even the White Tower had not detected.
Of course, Rod didn’t annihilate them all; for the worthless ones, a report to the Fire Hall sufficed.
Though the Spirit Realm Strike was infinitely powerful, each strike consud 10 points of Divinity.
Rod’s bottom line for using it was that the Spirit Realm Monster killed had to at least bring him 10 points of Divinity.
In this way, he could earn a soul.
Running a loss of Divinity was absolutely unacceptable.
According to the Book of Knowledge, this invasion of the Dream Realm was extraordinary.
Nightmare Night was an extrely terrifying phenonon, and the Dark Stars were exceptional Black Fog Symbionts.
The Black Fog Symbionts were souls that had decayed to the extre. They resonated deeply with the Black Fog, retaining barely any of their original characteristics, possessed only thorough corruption and extre pollution. They lacked any instincts, eternally silent within the Black Fog, being both monsters and a part of the Black Fog itself.
Only when stimulated by the Source feedback from the Black Fog would they trace the disturbance’s origin and eliminate the threat.
And the deeper the Black Fog Symbiont resided, the more power of the Black Fog it possessed.
The Dark Stars were among the deeper Black Fog Symbionts, corrupted Spirit Realm teors, sotis called fallen stars in certain Epochs, and represented a threat on a destructive level.
For Rod at the present, they were nearly an insurmountable challenge.
All the more so as they were accompanied by the terrifying Nightmare Night.
This would be the greatest threat the Dream Realm has faced since its Awakening!
And Divinity was the greatest reliance for surmounting this disaster.
After fully understanding the plight of humanity, the Book of Knowledge realized the gravity of the situation. Trolian might not be the last Human Kingdom, but judging from the current state of the Dark Epoch, humanity was on the brink of extinction.
If the Dream Realm failed again in this round of Awakening, there might not be another chance.
Thus, this round of war between the Dream Realm and the Black Fog could likely be the final battle.
Despite its reluctance to admit it, the Book of Knowledge knew in its heart that the puppet had been correct.
——The world is plunging into deeper darkness, humanity is on the verge of destruction, and the Dream Realm is already shattered.
We hardly have any chances left, without staking everything, victory is impossible.
Having comprehended this, the Book of Knowledge changed its previously cautious approach and not only provided full support to Rod in killing Spirit Realm Monsters but also drove the Dream Bubble to accelerate at full force, disregarding the disturbance it caused in the Light Country, rushing straight toward the sensed Dream Fragnts.
Of course, even with larger actions, attention to details beca even more crucial, avoiding unnecessary disturbances as much as possible.
All secrets about the Dream Realm were to be strictly kept; without necessity, the existence of the Dream Realm should not be discussed, especially by those outside the Dream Realm.
For this reason, Rod truly racked his brains.
His behavior of rushing everywhere and frantically killing the invading Spirit Realm Monsters had shocked all the high-ranking officials of Trolian.
The lowest tier of the monsters he killed also amounted to Great Souls.
Such a grade of monsters couldn’t be easily vanquished by him alone, yet in everyone’s eyes, Rod seed to dispatch them with a flick of his hand.
The usual scenario was, Rod arrived at the scene, found the monster, a flash of blue light on his hand, and within a quarter of an hour at most, the monster would be struck down by an unidentified object from the upper Spirit Realm.
Rod appeared nonchalant, not even out of breath, before mounting Anna and heading to the next location.
This mysterious ability was beyond everyone’s understanding, hard to imagine as the power of a Fire Spark. It was no wonder that the number of people who were suspicious of Rod’s strange condition was not small.
Fortunately, Rod wrung his brain and ca up with a perfect explanation.
——His most recently ignited Fire Spark was not actually that powerful. The strike from the unknown object in the Spirit Realm was like earthquakes, landslides, tsunamis, a natural force widely present within the upper layers of the Spirit Realm.
His Fire Spark could trigger this force, using it to kill monsters.
But it was not his own power.
And during the ti when the stars shone brightly, the Fire Spark was very active, significantly increasing the success rate of guiding the Spirit Realm’s forces.
However, once the Star Flash ended, it would be very difficult to activate the Fire Spark.
This explanation was so perfect that it left no room for suspicion. The logic was flawless, convincing everyone imdiately.
