Olivia’s voice was extrely heavy.
"The disturbance from the battle will be very large, and no one can be sure how many monsters will be alard. To reduce pressure, we must clear out all the monsters in this direction as much as possible."
"This is a true test, not only for us but for them as well."
Rod felt inexplicably tense and asked, "I’m part of the decisive battle team, right?"
Olivia laughed and said, "Of course you are. Without you, we would be missing a trump card. Don’t worry, go and rest. The last three days are the most important."
Rod nodded, found a spot not too close nor too far from the fire, and sat down. This was the most suitable distance for him.
As he sat down, he was surprised to find phit sitting here as well, only she had her arms wrapped around her knees, her head resting on them, and her silver hair cascaded like a waterfall.
"What are you doing?" Rod asked, "Why aren’t you resting?"
phit glanced at him with her silver eyes coldly, "I am resting."
Rod didn’t pay much attention, casually asked a few questions, and learned that her curse was still under her control. The state of silver hair and silver eyes would last a long ti. He then closed his eyes and entered the Dream Realm.
Inside the Dream Realm.
The Book of Knowledge was already eager and impatient, rushing up as soon as Rod stepped into the Dream Realm.
"Master, quickly create the Colorful Dreams."
"We are very close to the Ancient God of flesh and rebirth!"
Rod impatiently pried the Book of Knowledge off him.
"I know, don’t rush."
He took 150 portions of Nightmare Fuel from the Obelisk and ca to the Dream Factory.
He gently knocked on the door, and above, in the deep background, a maiden seemingly ford of mist gently bowed towards Rod from a pale blue crescent moon, opening the door.
Inside the factory, black pipes twist and entwine, slowly writhing. A gigantic heart-shaped furnace stands solemnly in the middle of the factory, countless pipes of varying sizes entwined and connected to its top and bottom like blood vessels.
Rod knew that as long as he added the corresponding proportion of Nightmare Fuel into the heart furnace, the miraculous Dream Creation, "Colorful Dreams," could be refined.
He walked over and added part of the Nightmare Fuel into the inlet below the heart. A puff of black smoke rose, and the heart began to throb, the entire Dream Factory seed to co alive, as if he were standing inside the belly of a gigantic monster.
Rod cald his mind and continued to add Nightmare Fuel into the furnace core.
The furnace roared, and wisps of black smoke rose. The entire factory seed to be chewing sothing.
The Book of Knowledge shouted excitedly, "Processing hope dreams with a body of despair, this is the miracle of the Dream Factory!"
Rod quietly waited, not knowing how long it had been, finally, the Dream Factory cald down, and the heart furnace emitted its last puff of black smoke before opening its door.
Two streams of colorful light lay quietly in the core, Rod gently scooped them up into his hands.
The Book of Knowledge jumped up excitedly, "Great, two portions of Colorful Dreams! What an unexpected surprise! Not surprising from my teaching... ahem, ahem, I an, not surprising from you, Master. Though I did lend a little assistance."
Rod glanced at it and snorted, asking, "Book, how do I use this?"
The Book of Knowledge quickly replied, "Just put it into the Obelisk, the delay in star quantification is a bad thing, and Colorful Dreams can change that."
Rod asked in a deep voice, "Book, theoretically, I have already beco a Guardian, my soul has grown stronger, so why hasn’t the star quantification been completed?"
The Book of Knowledge flipped through pages, and its voice transford into text.
"I cannot be certain, Master, but it’s likely due to so new change happening in the Three Realms."
The Three Realms refer to the Material World, Spirit Realm, and Sea of Source. The Book of Knowledge’s response left Rod incredulous, but he did not have ti to delve deeper and had to leave the Dream Factory with the Book of Knowledge.
On the door, the dreamy maiden gently closed the door for him, smiling sweetly.
Rod always felt that this maiden and the Dream Factory seed to be living entities.
He shook his head, cleared away his scattered thoughts, and approached the Obelisk, placing one Colorful Dream into the Obelisk.
The light, as light as cotton, quickly rged into the towering Obelisk but did not cause any changes.
Rod waited for a while, just as he was about to inquire, the Dream Realm suddenly dimd, the night sky beca extrely prominent, a giant teor with a long tail fla slid into the sky, becoming a star hanging in the southeast corner.
A line of gold text, as if burning, appeared in his consciousness.
[Frost Blue]
[State: Primordial]
[Position: Sea of Source]
[Star Energy: Spirit Tide]
[Strength: 10000]
[Source: 2]
[Description: We still need to love life, even if the world treats us harshly,
instead of complaining about being in darkness, better to light a lamp and move forward.]
——
Wow!
Damn... Wait, Frost Blue’s quantification is completed.
Rod gazed at the star shining in the night sky, suddenly overwheld by an urge to weep.
This was the first star he ignited solely by his own strength, finally completing quantification at this mont.
It wasn’t easy.
