At the other end of the spire hall, a man about thirty years old was sitting.
He was dressed in a cyan and white robe with a three-tier fla symbol at the collar, his features sharp, greasy black hair evenly draped down from both sides, a massive hooked nose, and his eyes were cold and profound.
"Lord Gula."
He said indifferently.
"How are things?"
Manolo Bana bowed slightly, "Your Excellency Jon, Theodore is gravely ill, his mind unclear, he made a very foolish move, we are assured of victory."
Jon’s cold black eyes looked at him.
"Lord Gula, before I truly inherit the throne of the Fire King, it’s premature to claim victory."
Manolo Bana smiled, "Rest assured, Wolfgang von Jon, your na will be engraved upon the King Artifact. Your soul trait strength far surpasses the other competitors, and your wise ideology is the correct path for the future of Trolian. Under your guidance, humanity can achieve true peace."
Jon said coldly, "Let’s hope so."
Manolo Bana bowed, "So it must be."
Jon said nothing more, and flicked his fingers lightly, causing the flas in the hall’s fireplace to blaze fiercely.
This was not a natural fla but the Guardian Fire, which theoretically could beco the Holy Fire as long as it was strong enough.
Every human settlent existed around it, the real limitation to Trolian’s expansion was the number of Guardian Fires.
Without it, no living being could exist long in the eternal Black Fog.
To have the Guardian Fire exist in a private fireplace was not sothing that could be done rely by the status of the Great Judgent Chief of the Internal Affairs Court.
Only a King Candidate could do so.
Every king of Trolian was born from the King Candidates.
And the requirent to beco a King Candidate was very simple.
Ignite the Soul Fire, beco a bearer of the Enchanted Fire (Spirit Fire Series), and acquire the most important soul trait that has ever appeared in humanity:
"Eternal Burning Fire"
It was so rare that only four people in the entire Trolian Kingdom possessed it.
The King.
Wolfgang von Jon.
Aligali Dan Qingyu.
Modric Lao Xingge.
Once the old King’s soul returned to the Holy Fire, the next King would be born from Jon, Qingyu, and Xingge.
Only they, with the "Eternal Burning Fire" trait, could resonate with the Holy Fire, gain its power, maintain its stability, and ensure that the Holy Fire never extinguished.
The resonant object of the Holy Fire could only be one.
Those who decided who qualified to be King were the Elders in the Supre Council, all of whom were persons of outstanding rit in the Kingdom, enjoying high prestige in the legion or the council hall.
The criteria of judgent were the actions and rits since the three beca candidates.
According to Trolian tradition, a King Candidate would also serve as a Guardian, becoming the highest officer of a defense zone, responsible for protecting the lives and safety of all civilians under the zone.

At present, Jon was the most likely candidate to beco King, but Qingyu’s ergence posed a strong challenge, her performance in the Twelfth Defense Zone had won her much appreciation from many Elders.
He must change this situation, strike at Qingyu.

Jon nodded, this was expected. Lucian was a conservative who followed the old ways; as long as he didn’t lean toward Qingyu or Xingge, although the real decision-makers were the Elders, a powerful authority could do too much.
"How is the Red Stone Village case going?"
"We have basically confird that it was done by the Polluter Sect of the Doomsday Sect. They seem to have acquired a very powerful item that can slightly alter a person’s fate. The pseudo-governor Alex managed to displace the original governor’s fate in this way. Their goal is to find a certain Relic, ultimately to summon the Evil God or to replace it."
"Guardian Qingyu is also investigating; this happened in the Twelfth Defense Zone, they have the right and are making rapid progress."

Manolo Bana bowed, "Rest assured, Rod will be proven to be a heinous, utterly depraved, murdering and lascivious Doomsday believer, I already have ample evidence."
