The Book of Destiny is a powerful demi divine artifact, its core being the Book of the Future, crafted from the remains of the God of Destiny and various rare materials.
Sagus Ancient City is the only relatively intact relic of the Second Epoch discovered by Trolian.
Trolian has organized nurous expeditions to explore it, paying a high price but reaping vast rewards.
During one of the explorations, a High Rank combatant in the team turned out to be a longti undercover Doomsday believer. Upon returning to the Royal City, he stole the Book of Destiny they had painstakingly obtained from the depths of Sagus City and delivered it to Asa, the Great Sect Leader of the Polluter Sect.
Since then, Asa has been using the Book of Destiny to cause chaos in the Royal City, inflicting great damage on Trolian.
Until Rod found his lair deep in the sewers and destroyed it, recovering this book.
The Book of the Future returned to the Dream Realm, while the destiny-related materials were taken by the White Tower to be used as ritual materials for the Source Prophecy.
At that ti, the Great Prophet Iyeta confidently stated that the materials from the Book of Destiny were sufficient, but the prophecy is still not complete.
"Does the Source Prophecy require that much destiny material?" Rod curiously asked.
"Indeed."
Luo Weiya replied with a hint of dissatisfaction.
"We’ve expended so many resources and efforts for this Source Prophecy, what exactly is the White Tower doing? Shouldn’t they just honestly observe the Star Phase, the Spirit Realm, and pay attention to abnormal Spiritual Energy disturbances?"

The elderly Alehon raised his right hand, stopping Luo Weiya’s subsequent words.
"Lord redith is an extraordinary Prophet, his control over predictions has surpassed the usual Commander’s extent. Even super talented Iyeta, deed a once-in-a-millennium genius, cannot compare to his teacher in this regard. Due to his stable and strong power over predictions, Lord redith rarely triggers inspiration; his intuition must not be ignored."
The King nodded slightly.
"Lord Alehon is very correct; during the preparation of the Source Prophecy, this was further proven—the destiny power it requires far exceeds expectations."
"Clearly, the direction of the inspiration suggests an unusual crisis."
The gray-haired Peibela said softly, "If it points to Starry Sky City, then after the battle, the destiny power needed for the Source Prophecy should drastically decrease, but the fact is it hasn’t."

Its cause unknown, originated from after the Godoyin Sacred Mountain.
Initially, abnormal Heavenly Phenonon frequently appeared, deeper Black Mist encroached on human cities enveloped in firelight, and monsters invaded massively.
With defense pressures soaring, regions fell, Guardian Fires extinguished one after another, more terrifying monsters erged, the Black Mist pressed down like dark clouds, destroying strongholds.
Finally, indescribable terror appeared, the Royal City fell, and the Holy Fire was extinguished.
Thus, a Human Kingdom was utterly annihilated, forever enshrouded in darkness, becoming a breeding ground for monsters and the origin of the Black Mist.
After the Starglow Battle, every word from the Starry Queen’s residual spirit was repeatedly studied.

According to deductions from the Royal City’s information, the direct cause of the Starry Kingdom’s downfall was the initial attack by the Black Mist.
An exceptionally strong terror monster, the Black Fog Demon obliterated their living forces, while another unnad entity called Mysterious Shadow eroded their King, leading to Starry Sky City’s downfall, extinguishing the Holy Fire.
And the residual spirit of the Starry Queen also told them that the disaster was not over; although they killed the Mysterious Shadow, deeper within the Source Black Fog, a new great terror was about to be stirred.
