But the King’s intuition and the future revealed by destiny cannot be ignored.
He could only silently pray that everything would go smoothly, that the King could smoothly overco the disaster.
Only in this way can Trolian rise, and humanity have a chance of revival.
Suddenly, Horus was filled with gratitude towards Rod, but he did not show it, and just said plainly, "Let’s go, the Life Cocoon has ford, the King’s recovery will take so ti, the Fire Priests will guard His Majesty well."
The Fire Priests bowed to the Archbishop in unison and stood beside that object, which had already turned into a white egg shape.
A flash of Spiritual Light erged from Horus’s body, turning into a large mass of white light, carrying Rod out from the top of the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground.
The white light, like a white teor, streaked across the sky, flying deeper into the Upper City.
The inner circle of the Upper City is the Royal District, and beyond the Royal District, around a cliff, is the famous Holy White Tree.
That towering tree is at least five hundred yards tall, its enormous canopy covering a region of three thousand square yards, its green leaves swaying in the breeze, the rustling sound echoing through the heavens and earth.
Inside the white light, Rod felt a sense of ti displacent, as if he had arrived in a green world, a rich life aura rushing towards him, just like when the King consud the Rebirth Flesh.
Of course, the aura here was not as thick, but more natural, fresher, like coming to a lush forest.
"Archbishop, is this the legendary botanical garden?" Rod asked curiously.
Horus nodded, flying downwards.
In an instant, a vast expanse of green filled his eyes.
Rod first saw that sapphire-like pure lake, then the vast grasslands, where many small animals were running and leaping, and mbers of the Life Priest Group in white robes were moving about.
On the left side of the grassland was a vast deep green forest, filled with various kinds of trees, and at a glance, Rod could see broad-leaved trees, pine trees, redwoods, etc.
On the right side of the grassland was a gorgeous garden filled with countless flowers and plants, swaying in the breeze, seemingly nodding to Rod.
The white light landed on the grass, and the surrounding Life Priests all saluted the Archbishop.
"Good day, Your Excellency Archbishop."
"Your Excellency Archbishop, are you here to inspect? The experint with the Nine-Tailed Dog and Flower Spirit Grass is not yet complete..."
Horus waved his hand, "No, I have more important matters, you may continue with your work."
The Life Priests then dispersed.
Horus briefly said, "This is the Herb Garden, that is the Flower Garden, the Fruit Garden, and in the distance, which you can’t see, is the Spiritual dicine Garden, where all our high-level spiritual dicine materials are planted."
Spiritual dicine refers to potions with strong spirituality, only the topmost rare and precious potions are called spiritual dicine.
Rod exclaid, "This feels like a paradise of life."
Horus shook his head, "No, it is life’s paradise. The Holy White Tree is a miracle of life, and the reason we have not faced destruction is, besides the protection of our Holy Fire, due to the Holy White Tree that grants us life, food, and spiritual dicine. These four gardens are our most important life zones, all plants and animals of the Kingdom originate here."
Rod was bathed in the life breeze, sowhat intoxicated, this wonderful sensation temporarily freeing him from the cold darkness and grotesque monsters, letting him rediscover the aning of life.
Horus did not rush him, quietly waiting there.
A mont later, Rod ca back to his senses and asked, "Archbishop, why are we here? To understand the operational model of the botanical garden?"
Horus replied flatly, "No, that’s my work, unrelated to the Fire Son or the King. We’ve co here to venture to the Ashen Throne, located beneath the Holy White Tree."
Rod, surprised, asked, "Beneath the Holy White Tree? I thought it was on the cliff, engraved with the giant statues of each Fire Son, the stone seat located in the statue’s mouth."
Horus glanced at him, "Who told you this?"
"Uh, I guessed it myself."
Horus said nothing more, leading Rod towards the direction of the Holy White Tree.
Along the way, Rod encountered countless small animals and innurable flowers and plants, both nad and unnad.
The priests of the Life Sect were busy here, taking care of and recording every species.
And beneath the gigantic Holy White Tree, there were even higher ranked Life Priests.
They were conducting life rituals, trying to resurrect ancient animal bones within the Holy White Tree.
Rod knew that these people were using the power of the Holy White Tree to create new species.
The at clams and mushrooms, which provided ample food for Trolian, were among their past creations.
So Life Priests were also attempting to create hybrid species of humans and beasts to enhance Trolian’s combat capabilities.
Of course, they have not succeeded as of yet.
Upon reaching the foot of the Holy White Tree, Rod fully felt the enormous size of this miraculous ancient tree, it was like a sky-piercing pillar, and the branches and leaves above were incredibly lush, like an inverted forest in the sky.
Horus inford him that the Holy White Tree’s life energy had recently declined, resulting in fewer fruits and sprouted shoots.
In Trolian’s currently expanding territories, many areas have not received branches of the Holy White Tree.
Without the purification of the new Holy White Tree, those areas remain uninhabitable.
