Chapter 1644: Reincarnated Friends (5)
Klaus wasted no time and ordered Atomic and Icon to begin immediately.
His plan was very simple. With the Bloodline Tree now under his control, he and Icon had worked tirelessly over the past few months to pick the best bloodline for his friends.
He was already aware of the kind of monsters they were back on Earth and who they had been in their past lives, so picking the right bloodline wasn’t much of a hassle.
He knew that if these new bloodlines merged with their original ones, the resulting mutations would be out of this world.
So he picked one for each of them and even did the same for their girlfriends. The last thing he wanted was for his friends to grow stronger while their girlfriends were left behind.
They had all helped immensely during the Planet Awakening, so this could be considered his way of thanking them and giving them a chance to continue living alongside their boyfriends.
Once everything had been prepared, Atomic and Icon went to work with the goal of turning every last one of them into True Supremes. He planned to ensure they reached a certain level of power before the ing dangers arrived.
They are good warriors, so he is giving them a helping hand to stand and fight once again, this time for the entire universe instead of a single planet.
While they were cocooned and undergoing their transformations, Klaus proceeded to review more of the memories Rhazor had returned with after attaining godhood.
The majority of the memories had to do with strange techniques used by some of the opponents he had faced during the Ascension Trial.
Initially, those techniques seemed random. However, as time passed, he began to notice a clear pattern, one that made him realize that perhaps this trial held far more hidden secrets than he had first imagined.
Fortunately for him, he was someone who could see beyond what ordinary people could perceive. His mind was so sharp that he never forgot anything his eyes had seen, so after reflecting on everything that had transpired, he identified martial techniques that transcended anything he had ever encountered.
Naturally, he began paying even closer attention, and it was then that he discovered the most shocking aspect of the trial.
As he continued to kill, he could sense knowledge so ancient and foreign pouring into his mind. Contained within those memories was, of course, the knowledge of the techniques he had started to recognize.
Before long, he weled a flood of knowledge, each fragment detailing the techniques of several opponents and the methods required to master them.
Rhazor was so overjoyed that he went from merely killing to killing with purpose, each kill carrying a price.
After spending years in that place and glimpsing countless secrets, he had amassed an enormous collection of techniques, both Martial Arts and Qi Cultivation methods.
To his absolute shock, most of those techniques were the very same ones contained within the knowledge of the Void that Pickle Berry and the Eighth Paragon had stolen from the Heavens.
That told him everything he needed to know. Now that he was upgrading his friends, he knew he had to give each of them an overpowered cultivation method and a martial technique, just as he had done back on Earth.
***
The first to emerge from his cocoon as a True Supreme was Daniel. He came out as a 12-foot-tall barbarian but quickly returned to a height of 6’7″ after gaining the ability to assume a more human physique.
At first, Klaus had no idea which of his incarnations Daniel had e from. But after recovering all of Knox’s memories, he recognized him immediately.
In fact, he recognized most of his friends—those currently with him and others yet to be found. Most of them had been panions from his Second and First Incarnations.
Daniel was a barbarian general who served under Vida, Klaus’s barbarian wife, during his Second Incarnation. He was one of her most prominent generals and the very one who made Vida aware that Knox had arrived on her planet, leading to the merciless beating that had left Knox traumatized and afraid of women ever since.
Watching him emerge with a muscular physique, long dark hair, blue eyes, and skin coated in subtle flame runes, Klaus could only smile.
Daniel rested his colossal hammer on his shoulder, a smug smile at the corner of his mouth, as if he knew Klaus had recovered his memories and remembered everything he had done during the Divine Era.
The bloodline Klaus had given him had done its job. Now, although Daniel was only at the peak of the True Supreme stage, going against Celestials wouldn’t be a problem.
Klaus then bestowed upon him two techniques: one cultivation method and one martial technique.
As Daniel began absorbing them, the next of his friends emerged.
Mark stepped out with a gale of wind so sharp that the surrounding space seemed to have transformed into a razor-sharp domain of deadly blades.
He had long silver hair, an athletic build, silver eyes, and skin that looked both metallic and silver. He was strikingly handsome, a mirror image of his past self.
Mark was a spearman and one of the many who had fought by Klaus’s side during the Primordial Era. He had been a member of the Heavenly Court, serving directly under the then-Celestial Supreme.
Klaus knew he was capable of achieving great things, so he bestowed two techniques upon him. More importantly, now that Mark had bee a True Supreme, Klaus intended to arrange a match between him and Lily, his longtime rival.
Among Klaus’s wives, Lily was the fastest and the most dangerous with a blade. Her true nature as the Red Fury, the woman who had e close to killing his Eighth Paragon dozens of times, had fully returned, and now, she is a True Supreme.
More importantly, this time, she no longer possessed the flaws that once held her back. She had bee a swordswoman without weaknesses.
He wanted to see which of the two was faster and deadlier. Mark wielded the spear, while Lily wielded the sword. Back on Earth, they had peted several times to see who was faster and deadlier.
The third to emerge was, of course, Kay, the archer.
Kay was one of the deadliest archers Klaus had ever encountered. During his Seventh Incarnation, he had met him while visiting the Elven Empire to settle a past-life debt owed to an old friend.
The two had fought briefly, and despite Magnus bringing his A-game, he had ultimately been forced to retreat after encountering a true master of the bow.
A few days after their encounter, the Dark Elves attacked the planet to which Magnus had retreated. Initially, he believed the Elves would abandon that tribe, so he was prepared to fight.
However, Kay arrived and single-handedly changed the course of the battle, only to e dangerously close to death in the process.
Well, he died, and Magnus brought him back using the bloodline of an extraordinarily powerful Phoenix that had lived during the Renegade Era, transforming Kay—known in those days as Kayellux—from an Elf into an Elf-Phoenix hybrid.
The Elves didn’t reject him. Instead, they embraced him and used his existence to foster unity between the Elven and Phoenix races.
So, watching him walk out with green-and-red hair, a green left eye, a red right eye, and a slightly muscular physique, Klaus could only wish he had been fast enough to reach Planet BlueCrest that day.
Kay had fallen in battle and received a warrior’s burial, earning the respect of friends, allies, and enemies alike.
‘Good to have you back, buddy. This time around, I won’t fail you, no matter how many dreadful obstacles lie before me,’ Klaus thought with a smile.
Against his usual nature, he stepped forward and pulled Kay into a tight embrace, earning an eye roll from both Daniel and Mark.
Kay was now a True Supreme, standing at the very peak, just like the rest of his friends.
