Klaus and his ladies, along with Goodboyben, entered the Tower of Defiance.
The ground floor consisted of an open eating area. It was clear that they had made the place for exclusive parties, and at a glance, Klaus counted 900 seats. He raised his brow at the sight of so many seats.
’Isn’t this a little too much?’
Ohema, who saw the funny look in Klaus’s eyes, smiled.
"There are over 45 cities on Earth, and that excludes the Bast race and the Moon Borns. So, if all leaders from these cities, and the others from the various departments, were to meet, this place would be large enough to acmodate everyone."
"I wasn’t plaining," Klaus replied.
"I can see the plaint in your eyes." Ohema pouted, but Klaus just smiled and turned to examine the ground floor that was actually inside the water.
The tower itself was built into the water, so Klaus and the ladies were several feet deep in the water. Of course, with the material used, not even a Void Stage sea beast could break through them.
Naturally, no beast that is Tier 10 or above could e within 100 meters of the tower, for there is a formation in place to handle them. This information was given to them by the scientist from the best race.
Having the beautiful beasts around is one of the reasons they built the tower in the water in the first place. So those below the Tier 10 stage can e close and looking at the scene, one has to say it is indeed beautiful.
They went to the second floor, where there were some rooms filled with materials. Most of these materials were, of course, minerals that Ohema’s pany had procured over the years.
They would be using them to build the alliance to a good standing.
The third floor was for relaxation, which Klaus found interesting and thus approved, just like he did with the other floors.
The fourth floor, on the other hand, was a place reserved for meetings. It was a lush conference-type hall with exactly 1,000 chairs.
999 was reserved for the attendees of the meeting, with one majestic seat made using gold and diamond reserved for Klaus.
If he were to sit in it, he would be akin to a king ruling over the entire world.
Klaus didn’t mind the arrangements they had made for him, for he was indeed looking forward to claiming his rule as the Overlord of the Earth, just like he had promised his mother even before he awakened his class.
The last floor was a large resting area that had a swimming pool and everything a person would need. Naturally, the ladies accounted for them staying with Klaus there, so they made sure the master bedroom was big enough to acmodate all of them.
Klaus just smiled.
"I am impressed."
Ohema smiled. She was the richest on Earth for a reason, so building something this grand was within her capabilities.
"Klaus, you have a visitor." Suddenly, Goodboyben, who was on the fourth floor of the tower, called out.
"I will be back, ladies." With that, Klaus moved back to the fourth floor, where a man he had already met was seated on one of the chairs, looking at him as he entered.
"You are finally here," Klaus said, and the man nodded.
"You can call me Nimbe," the man said.
Klaus nodded and sat beside him. Nimbe was the man he had given King Kordax and his right-hand man to back when the ancient Sea race attacked Earth.
Back then, the man was at the peak of the Ascension stage. However, he seemed to have reached level 4 Nether stage after devouring King Kordax and Skroll.
As an Abyssal Trench, his devouring abilities were out of this world. And unlike Pickle Berry’s mother, who chose not to devour humans or beasts for strength, Nimbe didn’t seem to mind.
"I know you have also received the news, so I will go straight to the point. In 60 days, you will be leading the sea beasts under my mand in the battle that is to e.
You are strong, and in a few weeks from now, I would like you to use that strength to lead the Earth to victory."
Nimbe nodded, "I will do my best."
"That is all any of us can do." Klaus nodded at him and retrieved a drop of his Star Monarch blood, giving it to him.
"Consume it. It will boost your strength severalfold." Nimbe took the blood and consumed it. The moment he did, he felt a powerful energy pour into his body.
"You can go back. When you are done, let me know." Nimbe nodded and vanished.
Soon, he was back in the Abyss, where only he was left, considering Klaus and his people had killed every last one of the Trenches and the other monsters there.
Klaus stood up and was about to go back to his ladies when a sudden powerful ripple spread over the earth, causing him to look in the direction it came from.
"A beast aura."
His ladies appeared beside him.
"It’s big brother," Princess Eshira, who knew his brother’s aura, recognized who had released that aura. Klaus waved his hand, and they appeared outside.
"Goodboyben, stay here. I will be back in a few hours." Ben nodded, and Klaus turned to his ladies.
"Wanna see something new?" The ladies looked at him with pondering expressions. Klaus just smiled and then brought his hands together, forming a triangle by joining his thumbs and index fingers.
"You all should probably brace yourselves."
The ladies held each other’s hands, knowing Klaus was probably about to do something crazy.
As expected, Klaus grinned and then activated a space skill.
"Spatial Distortion." A light formed in the triangle that his fingers had formed. "Infinity Travel."
The ladies felt the reality before their eyes stretch like rubber pulled to its limit. Then, in a rather unexpected manner, they were launched forward like a rocket, moving several miles in the blink of an eye.
Within a second, they appeared at the borders of Zanbathu. Klaus turned to his ladies, whose faces turned pale from the sudden movement.
"Sorry about that. I wanted to test a new skill I recently acquired." They looked at him with varying expressions, but none said anything, knowing they could have stayed back for him to get to Zanbathu and then, using the paragon mark, they would teleport to his side.
However, it was already too late for that.
Klaus turned to the city, where a purple light pierced the sky, and the aura ing from it was one that made Klaus want to get a better understanding of.
"Let’s go." With a speed that defies mon sense, the ladies could only watch Klaus disappear in the blink of an eye.
"Monster," they muttered, and then they followed him. Soon, they arrived at a spot 300 meters away from where the purple light was ing from.
King T’Shan, Queen Nayiri, and the various generals of the Bast race were there, watching with expressions that demanded an answer.
When they saw Klaus arrive, they all rushed to his side.
"What is happening to him?" the queen asked, looking worried.
Klaus studied the purple light for a few minutes before a smile appeared on his face.
"Looks like your goddess went out of her way to truly bless the black panther." The smile on his face made everyone wonder what could make Klaus this happy.
"Don’t worry, everyone, Prince Challa is merely undergoing a profound transformation that will make him the first Supreme Beast on Earth and perhaps the entirety of this galaxy."
