Chapter 1205: Potential Danger
For soone with 450 minds, waking up with his mind completely a ss screams danger. The Paragon may have found himself in such a ss now.
Klaus gasped for breath, his vision blurry as he tried to make sense of the world around him.
“Klaus, are you alright?” Suddenly, Hanna asked, her voice distant yet strong enough to pull his mind back to the real world.
Well, they are inside a region created by the void, so there is no telling if he is really back in the real world. However, Hanna’s voice tugged at his heartstrings and brought him back.
After a few more minutes, he managed to regain so of his senses, allowing him to co to terms with what had happened. He looked at his three wives, who looked worried for so reason.
“I am fine, ladies…” Klaus said, feeling a slight headache coming on. Hanna took his body temperature by pressing the back of her hand against his forehead.
“Are you sure? You have been out for seven years, Klaus. You got us worried.”
“What?” Klaus clearly might have heard that wrong. “You said I have been out for how long again?”
“Seven years.”
“But how is that possible? I don’t feel like I have been out for seven years. If anything, it felt like a couple of minutes to .” Klaus took a deep breath, calming his racing heart.
He truly needs to calm his heart down. What he had just heard is not one he can handle with his mind jumbled up.
“I don’t know what to say, Klaus, but you have been gone for a while.”
“I see,” Klaus recalled what he had seen, and judging by how many years had passed in that vision, he concluded that perhaps he had been gone for a while.
After all, he may have just witnessed sothing that at one point in ti was a calamity the universe wasn’t prepared for. And now, he thinks the universe is in danger from the sa threat.
All he saw and what he and his ladies had experienced now clearly shows that sothing else is amiss here. The Void Region isn’t the safe haven that he and his wives think it is.
It is dangerous, and he can now see why.
“Klaus, what happened?” Kathy asked in a worried tone, seeing him sit quietly and pondering sothing that, from his expression, showed he was worried.
Klaus didn’t imdiately answer… he first collected his thoughts, making sure everything he saw was perfectly aligned.
‘It’s like the information I received wasn’t ant for just any ordinary warrior. Had it not been for my having 450 different minds, I wouldn’t have had the brain capacity to handle it.
Thankfully, the information was divided throughout my 450 minds, allowing to keep my sanity intact… barely.’
Klaus thanked his lucky stars that he had broken through to the ‘Life Stage’ before obtaining this knowledge. If he had been a few brains short, his life would have been in danger.
Klaus turned to his wives and answered their questions. They had been worried sick the past few months before he woke up.
“So it turned out the Void Crystal that I threw into the vortex contains information about a world I believe lived during the Primordial Era and was responsible for saving the universe from the Void Beasts.”
Vida raised her brow, hearing what Klaus said.
As soone who had lived in the era imdiately after the Primordial Era, she knew firsthand that the universe faced an extinction event that wiped out nearly all life.
So she may have heard wrong.
“Wait, although this knowledge has been suppressed during the Divine Era, I know for a fact the universe was saved by a Paragon and a few powerhouses.
Back then, they fought against the Void Beasts and won, allowing the universe to reset. I know this because the Barbarian King fought in that war and was responsible for preserving the Barbarian race.
So if that were the case, how would this world be the one responsible for saving the universe?”
Klaus smiled calmly and said the words the Heavenly Court had tried to hide for aeons.
“We only fought against one void gate.”
Be it Vida, who knew about the battle against the Void Beasts, or her two sisters, who had no idea what had happened during the Primordial Era…
…just hearing that the universe nearly ca to an end due to a void gate, and now Klaus had just discovered a new one, made them all break out in cold, visible sweat.
“No need to be in shock, ladies. I might just be wrong about everything, so for now, let’s hold back our emotions from running wild.”
“We are not kids, Klaus. Just the fact that soone like you nearly lost their mind from just receiving a bunch of information shows this is serious. You don’t have to protect us from feeling scared.”
Vida, Hanna, and Kathy are truly scared.
The void is a very dangerous place.
Legend says the universe was born from the void. It lives within the void, which was just looking for a way in. However, thanks to the fabric of the universe still holding firm, no matter how hard the void tried, getting in was just impossible.
This is also why there are many extinction events in every era. The void tries hard to weaken the fabric of the universe, and to do that, it needs chaos.
The more the chaos, the weaker the fabric grew, eventually allowing the void to co in.
During the Primordial Era, many harrowing battles occurred, and through them, the void found a way to send its own force into the universe, resulting in a near-extinction event. Had it not been for so brave warriors, the universe would have co to an end.
“This is bad, Klaus,” Hanna said, looking pale like a white sheet.
“It is indeed bad. However, until we know everything, we cannot start to panic. Also, even if this is a void gate that will one day open in the universe, there are trillions of warriors that will fight to protect the weak and innocent, so we have nothing to worry about.”
Klaus’ words seem to have cald them down a bit. However, there is also so lingering hesitation on their faces, suggesting it will take them so ti to fully recover.
Klaus seems pleased with their expressions. He had already held back a few things for now, just to allow them to handle what had been revealed to them.
Facing the Void Beasts is not going to be easy, and if indeed the gate that King Velarion and the other four Celestials were planning on building is to hold back the void from opening, then after aeons, it would have already weakened.
‘I need to know more. I need more Void Crystals.’
Obviously, Klaus knew he must get to the bottom of everything. He needs to because if the void had indeed tried to open a second gate, then this universe is now in deep trouble, and as painful and unforgiving as it may seem, he might even need the Heavens Court’s help to save the universe.
Klaus smiled weakly and spoke a sentence told to him by Chaos in his video he left for him… ‘The heavens are emotionless and mindless; rember that before you go berserk.’
He still cannot make heads or tails of this sentence, but now, it is the only thing that cos to mind.
Klaus turned to the system window to see the ssage he had received.
When his eyes landed on the ssage, his expression turned to shock.
