There is only one way to outsmart the heavens, and that is by using their own strength against them.

They planned on using the heavens' guardian to kill Klaus, since they knew the heavier and deadlier the spear gets, the more disadvantaged he would be.

Naturally, that worked to their advantage. Klaus indeed ended up in a situation where, if he didn't play smart, the crushing load of the spear would end him before he knew it.

The heavens' guardian was not affected by the pressure, so he knew he had to find a way to make sure they both were at a disadvantage.

Thankfully, his big brain worked everything together and ca up with the best way to go about it.

First, he turned the ground into quicksand using his Earth elental affinity. He planned to leverage the power of the pressure that would co from the fifth, sixth, and seventh spears and use it against the heavens' guardian.

Since the pressure doesn't directly affect him, Klaus planned on using his surroundings, influenced by the pressure, to affect him. He planned to keep the battle grounded, ensuring the heavens' guardian remained on the ground.

This is where his second move ca into play. He locked the space around them, which ca easily to him, considering he had used it before.

Space Lock is one of the Space Law techniques he had mastered. However, just locking space wasn't enough. The plan he had in mind went beyond rely locking space.

His third move was to use gravity to render the sealed space a no-fly zone. Naturally, that was the main move, and considering it was used within a 10 km radius, the energy required to keep it activated for long was just too much.

However, Klaus calculated that he wouldn't need it for long, since there were two outcos he expected from this.

The first being the tribulation ending before he ran out of Space Law Essence and Gravity Law Essence. Once that happened, even if the heavens' guardian were to be alive, he would still be able to kill him without external interference.

The second outco, of course, was for the heavens' guardian to die before the tribulation ca to an end. Naturally, this thod was difficult, considering the fifth spear coming was not one Klaus could be distracted away from.

However, with the pressure coming, using the Earth elent to kill the heavens' guardian seed viable. But there was just one problem: the heavens' guardian was a True Immortal with six Immortal Rings. Would such a person die when swallowed by quicksand?

'I guess we will find out."

Klaus focused part of his attention on the spear coming, a large serpent coiling around it. The pressure being released is rather terrible.

His other attention was focused on the heavens' guardian, who was busily covering the surface of the quicksand with ice.

Seeing this, Klaus smiled and tapped into his fla elent. He picked the Chaotic Nirvana Fla because it was perfect for this mont. Its chaotic nature is just too perfect for what he had in mind.

The mont he did, the ground began to heat up, and the ice slowly lted.

Klaus quickly unleashed a few sword slashes, sending them speeding toward the heavens' guardian, who had finally sensed danger.

The pressure from the spear was bearing down on the ice, causing it to break and lt, slowly transforming the quicksand into molten lava.

"He is maintaining his distance just as I expected. This ans I can use the bow to keep him far back while I focus on the last three remaining spears."

The Fla Eater Bow appeared, and Klaus started shooting arrows, forcing the heavens' guardian to move further back. He countered by unleashing a few attacks, but Klaus, with the bow, was even faster than with the sword.

"Seya, keep him distracted while I take care of the fifth spear."

Klaus instructed, then retrieved another arrow. However, with his Space and Gravity Laws in use, he resorted to using the Void Law to augnt the arrow.

Just as the spear fully erged from the cloud, Klaus felt his bones under imnse pressure. However, he stood his ground and waited for the spear to co out of range.

Naturally, that was to happen after it ca down a few ters. However, this ti it hovered, almost as if waiting for Klaus to run out of Space Law Essence and Gravity Law Essence.

"I expected as much. Good thing I prepared for this, too."

Klaus grinned, then tapped his foot on the ground, causing a small opening to appear in the void. Then, without any delay, he fired the arrow into it, which vanished from sight.

"You fell for it, losers."

Klaus gave the heavens the middle finger, then snapped his finger. In that very instant, the heavens sensed how stupid they were, so they reacted. However, it was already too late.

The void opened at the centre of the spear, and the arrow flashed out, drilling a hole through the thick spear. Cracks soon lined its sleek surface, and before long, it broke apart.

RUMBLE

The clouds churned loudly, their fury evident. "You can't play smart with . I am several tis smarter than you, which says a lot. So maybe stick to attacking while I brilliantly play smart and worm my way out of everything."

Klaus laughed, and then, with the sixth spear yet to co, his focus turned to the heavens' guardian.

"Ti to kill this bastard."

As he watched the ice slowly lt, Klaus knew the heaven's guardian understanding of the Ice Law was far superior to his mastery of the Fla Law. That could be seen from how slowly the ice was lting.

However, what if he sped things up? What if he could make sure the poor bastard didn't get the comfort he desired to keep channelling the Ice Law into the ice?

An arrow appeared in his hands, and then, with a smile, he sent it flying. The heavens' guardian braced and ford a shield around him. However, just before the arrow could land on the shield, it vanished into the void, catching the heavens' guardian off guard.

He turned, looking around him to see if he could spot the arrow. However, just as he turned, the void opened before him, and the arrow ca out.

It was a close-range attack, the kind that could not be dodged. However, the heavens' guardian dodged the arrow that would have gone through his chest, and it went through his shoulder instead, sending him flying back.

This made Klaus raise his brow. "Excellent reaction speed you have there, four eyes. However, I have to tell you, I once killed a demigod when I was only a Real Immortal.

So, just as you outclass in every way, so did the demigod. However, there is sothing I have that you don't, and that is intelligence."

Klaus turned his back on the heavens' guardian and focused his attention on the sixth spear that was already shattering the void as it slowly appeared through the tribulation cloud.

"Enjoy the pain."

Klaus smiled and started planning for the sixth spear. anwhile, the arrow sticking out of the heavens' guardian's shoulder suddenly turned to rust and then rot. The next second, a painful scream ca from his mouth.

"Feel the pain of death, sucker."

Far from the tribulation ground, Maud sat calmly, her eyes closed, while she silently muttered so strange words.
