Painful howls escaped from Klaus and his four bodies, causing everyone present to break into a sudden crashing silence of fear—then they scrambled.

Klaus's skin started to swell, and cracks appeared on his face. From the cracks, blood started to spill.
The sa could be said for his four bodies. They all held their heads, saliva pouring from the corners of their lips as they scread their souls out.
It appeared they were in so much pain that soone with extre pain tolerance, such as Klaus, was left reeling from it.
Queenie and her sisters tried to rush to his side; however, King Alric stopped them. "Relax, ladies, he has just consud the blood essence of a god who had lived for millions of years; there is bound to be so pain involved."
"But—"
"It is okay, he will pull through," Queen Leah stepped in. "While it may not look like it, the blood essence he has consud contains a slight amount of Supre Qi. I am sure that is the reason for the pain."
They sighed; however, as Klaus clutched his head and scread, they grew worried.
anwhile, Goddess Nivara sat before Klaus with a clenched fist. Her cultivation base had drained to the Awakened stage, making her no different from a mortal.
She had none of her previous strength left.
In fact, watching Klaus go through all this pain, she failed to see the rows of text appear before her. If she did, she would have recognized them as the text that appears when one awakens.
However, instead of an already prepared text, this one was more suggestive, asking her to select her class and elental affinities.

Seeing her grandson in pain, she reached out and held his hand, giving him a gentle squeeze. She may be a mortal, but her body is refined, like a god's. It had been tempered to this stage, so her gentle squeeze reached Klaus, sending waves of electricity through his body.
This gave him the assurance that he wasn't alone.
However, he continued to scream for a few more hours before he suddenly stopped. At that point, a new text appeared before his vision.
Klaus let a grin form on the corner of his lips. This sight made his grandma smile, too. It seems her grandson is out of danger. However, she still held his hand and continued to wait for him to finish.
Already, while she didn't have the sense to see how much stronger Klaus was becoming, she could tell sothing profound was happening to him.
In truth, those who could see what was happening saw that Klaus had already reached the peak of the Early Immortal stage, while the four bodies had even ascended to the Real Immortal stage.
However, as the seconds passed, they kept leveling up, propelling them to the next realm.
As it happened, the little Divine Qi Goddess Nivara had left in her blood essence was more than enough to aid five immortals in leveling up several tis.
It took so ti for the Nine Paragon Star Diagram to kick in. But when it did, the result was just as Klaus expected.

All nine doors are now open, so he can utilize the power of all nine nodes in the diagram. This enabled him to refine the Divine Qi and convert it into Star Qi.
