Soti later, Klaus, Rory, On, Slate, and Echo were led to a spacious mansion by a maid who was already a True God.
"You are free to pick any room you want," the maid said with a small bow.
"Thank you, senior," Klaus responded before stepping into the room. The woman, addressed as "senior," stood there, frozen for a while before regaining her composure.
Clearly, she hadn't been referred to as such before, despite already being a True God.
After standing there for a few more seconds, she walked away, a smile tugging on her lips. She would have bragging rights among the maids when she inford them of how she was referred to by the Renegade Hunter.
Already, word had spread that the Renegade Hunter had been taken away by Lord Erald, so people are aware he is on the Blue Jade Planet.
However, despite knowing that, none of them dared try to co over, not if they valued their lives. The events that had occurred while inside the Jade Nest left everyone on edge.
The Paragon's exposé had made many wonder whether this universe is indeed safe. Of course, they know the answer, but they couldn't help but ask.
Aside from that, many also wanted to hear things from the Renegade Hunter's perspective. They could all tell the Paragon had taken an interest in him, so they wanted to know where he stood.
The Paragon saying he was a bit scared of Klaus was a clear sign that indeed, the Renegade Hunter isn't as simple as they may have thought.
Already, the Heavens Court wants to use Klaus to clear their na. In their opinion, if Klaus was raised to beco a star pupil, then one day, even if the Paragon manages to rise to the rank of a Celestial, there would be soone alive to match his power.
So, as it happens now, everyone wants to have a sit-down with Klaus and ask for his opinion.
For now, they would all have to wait because he had no plans to co out just yet.
After entering the room, Klaus and Rory picked their room while Slate and the others also picked theirs. Before leaving for their rooms, Klaus transferred the sa technique he had given Lord Victor to the three.
They had all reached the Peak of the Immortal Lord stage, so the next thing was to beco Demigods.
They thanked him, but before departing, Echo asked a question that made Klaus grin...
"Tell , Renegade Hunter, do you think you can kill the Paragon,"
Klaus turned and looked at her, "Do you want to kill him."
"To be honest, I don't."
"Oh, why don't you,"
"Because I believe the Paragon isn't the evil we have always known. From what I learned of him, he was painted as the most evil Demon King. They said he had killed many innocents and even went above and beyond to destroy many planets.
However, when he appeared in the Nest, he had all the power in the Universe to kill every last one and cover up his cris. However, aside from ending the battle, unintentionally saving many in the process, he left without touching a single hair on our heads.
That is not sothing an Evil Demon King does. So, in my opinion, I believe we may have mistaken him. Maybe he wasn't soone to be feared; rather, we should support him and let him rid this universe of the demons and the foreign race."
Klaus let a small smile form on his face:
"First of all, never say this in front of anyone who is not . You would be branded a traitor and killed without rcy. However, what you said is indeed true. He had every reason to kill us, but he didn't.
That shows he is not an uncontrollable threat. However, your opinion and mine an nothing, not when the Heavens Court says otherwise. So the least we can do is do our part and let them do their part."
Klaus placed his hand on her shoulder and added, "I would be very happy to cross swords with him one day. But as to whether I would want to kill him, that I do not know. Of course, if he threatened my life, then I would have no reason to spare him."
"So you can kill him," Slate asked...
"That is left to be determined. But if we are to fight now, I have reasons to believe I would kill him in less than 10 moves,"
Seated sowhere in an SSS-Class spaceship, a dark-haired figure coughed a few tis, a smile appearing on his face. This person is Klaus's Paragon Incarnation, still en route to the Beast Universe.
Seated not far from him is Maud, holding a golden-haired baby in her embrace. The Jade Ant Queen in her baby form is even cuter than in her adult form.
Clearly, whatever reincarnation she experienced wasn't the ordinary kind.
Klaus looked at Maud and smiled. "You would make a good mother, Maud."
"Maybe. However, I plan on not having a baby, not when my role as your Death Heart is of utmost importance.
Also, I have reasons to believe that even if I were to have a baby, he or she would be a nace to society. So let's save the future by not having one at all."
A smile ford on her face as she poked the Jade Ant Queen's chubby cheeks.
Klaus just smirked but said nothing. Though deep down, he had to agree with Maud. As the literal incarnation of death, her children would inherit her genes, which, from what Klaus could tell, would be genes rich in the Dao of Death.
Having babies made from the energy of death sounds like the most evil thing that could happen to this universe.
'Still, we will talk about it later,' he knew one day, he would have to have his own family, and considering the number of won already in his life, there was no telling just how many heroes and villains he would be producing.
"Are we taking her with us?" Maud asked, feeling a bit reluctant to part with the cute baby. Unfortunately, the next second, a figure appeared inside the spaceship.
"Asha," Maud called out, a sigh escaping her lips.
"Hi, Maud, how have you been?" Asha asked, snuggling into Klaus's arms.
"So you are here for her, huh?"
Asha nodded, a small smile appearing on her face, "You can always co and play with her when you are free."
Maud knew that would do, but still, parting with the Jade Ant Queen made her sad. In the end, she had no reason but to hand over the baby to Asha, who had already been briefed by Klaus on what to do.
"Knowing the kind of Queen you are, she would grow up much faster than most," Maud said, but Asha smiled and shook her head.
"I will let her grow up normally for the first 18 years of her life. Once she cos of age, I will let her decide her own path."
Hearing this, Maud smiled and nodded.
With this arrangent, she would have plenty of ti to play with her the next ti they et. After a few words, Asha left with the Jade Ant Queen, who, despite being a re baby, had a cultivation base that lay dormant at the peak of the Universal God stage.
