If there is one thing the heavens are good at, it is creating chaos.
They had already started ssing with Klaus, and he knew it.
Klaus was fully aware of the lengths they would go to just to make him wish he were under them. That he would bow down to them.
However, Klaus was more than ready to look them in the eye and raise the middle finger.
The system screen, which only appeared to those who had awakened their class and elents, now appeared before everyone’s vision, creating chaos everywhere.
If there is one thing humans hate more than death, it is the idea that they have 60 days before portals open and beings from the unknown start raining down on them.
People were scared, so they began doing what they do best when scared.
Stores were being ransacked.
Cars were being set on fire.
Chaos erupted everywhere, for they knew in 60 days they would die.
Nobody knew why, but despite the authorities doing their best to handle the issue and bring calm everywhere, there was an air of chaos that only seed to breed more chaos.
The mont Klaus appeared back on Earth, he saw what fear and panic could do to ordinary folk.
"The heavens sure prepared well this ti. The last ti, it was only the warriors who received the ssage, but now," Klaus sighed. He looked over a vast part of the Earth, now burning due to the panic people were in.
"I need Princess Eshira." Klaus used their connection, and a few seconds later, Princess Eshira appeared beside him.
"What should we do?" she asked, making Klaus aware she was in the middle of escalating the events before he called him.
"I need to make a nationwide broadcast."
Princess Eshira nodded, and soon they were gone. A few minutes later, they arrived at her studio, which was locked down because her workers were afraid the situation outside would spread to them.
When they entered, Princess Eshira imdiately brought everyone up to speed.
The first thing they did was create a post that imdiately cald most people. In a way, just hearing Klaus was about to go live was all they needed for the mont.
They knew he was the strongest person in their eyes, so his words hold so weight.
A few minutes later, Princess Eshira and her people were ready.
Klaus sat down for two things. First, he would make the announcent, then Princess Eshira would interview him.
"Are you ready?" Princess Eshira asked.
Klaus smiled and nodded, "Born ready."
"You go live in three, two, one..."
Klaus’s face appeared on every screen connected to the internet the mont the countdown hit zero. All screens were hijacked, and regardless of who owned it, the controversial news channel hijacked those screens and began broadcasting on them.
This drew everyone’s attention, imdiately stopping the chaos, for everyone wanted to listen to what Klaus had to say.
Klaus looked at the cara for a few minutes before a sigh escaped his lips.
"Isn’t it weird how you all suddenly felt this way? I know it is weird, for I never expected this event to create this much chaos. However, I also understand that in the ga of chess, you just have to think several steps ahead, get inside your opponent’s head. This ti, the heavens were a step ahead."
Klaus paused, smiled a little, and then sighed again.
"In 60 days, we won’t be fighting against Planet Nabu. No, our fight is not with them, for the true battle is against the heavens."
The weather in the sky started to change, but Klaus knew the heavens couldn’t do anything again. They had already made their move, so they could only endure what Klaus was about to say.
Princess Eshira, who knew what Klaus was about to do, started panicking, for she knew the kind of person Klaus was and what the heavens would do to go against him.
However, Klaus rely smiled at her and used the Harem connection to assure her that he was fine, that everything was fine.
"Let tell you a story," Klaus said, and all over the world, regardless of age or gender, every eye was glued to the screen, watching Klaus.
"Many years ago, there was this incredibly handso young man called Magnus. He was the most handso, if you ask ," Klaus laughed, making everyone watching him laugh with him.
"From the day he was born, the heavens knew he was destined for greatness, so they hated him. They hated that idea and so, for years, they sched, and when he turned 16, they revealed their true colors," Klaus sighed.
"Magnus was the best. He was born as a vampire in a world of humans, and while you would think his uniqueness would make him loved by everyone, the opposite happened.
In a world housing billions of humans, he beca the one everyone, regardless of their differences, could co together just to hate. Thus, Magnus beca the most pitiful instead of the most unique, like his mom always told him.
His friends despised him. His siblings wanted him to drop dead, and his own father wanted nothing to do with him. Shit, he only allowed him to live as long as he did because of the one person who, against all odds, still loved him—his mother.
Because of this one love, Magnus chose to live on, fight to protect the weak, and make sure, even though they hated him, they were safe.
However, the more lives he saved, the deeper their hatred for him seed to grow. Until Magnus had had enough and decided to give up.
He realized that because of him, his beautiful mother had now beco nothing but a target of insults, even from people unworthy to call her by her first na.
That broke his heart, and so Magnus wanted to give up and let the heavens win. However, as the saying goes, even the blind can see sotis.
To Magnus, when he was about to give up, the light appeared before him. When he was on the brink of despair, the first of five loves he would depend on in the end appeared, and one by one, five lights entered his life, adding to his mother, who was more than happy to see her son happy.
However, in the ga against the heavens, one cannot know what they will do next. In the end, Magnus lost everything again, and this ti, he gave up.
He let his anger get the best of him, and even though he won in the end, it ant nothing, for he had already lost everything, including his heart."
By the ti Klaus finished speaking, tears were flowing from millions of eyes, including Princess Eshira’s, who covered her face, unsure if she could continue the interview.
Klaus knew she had to go, so he called Queenie, who took her away discreetly.
Klaus, on the other hand, continued his speech.
"This battle is against the heavens, for they don’t want this world to survive. However, we will survive because we have prepared for this very mont.
Sixty days from today, we will face them, and I promise you, on that day, we will show these hateful heavens what we are made of.
We are strong, we are powerful, and we will do everything we can to ensure the heavens don’t have the outco they so very much crave. But until then, we all have to first remain calm and start preparing for the upcoming war."
