His response kind of caught off guard for a mont there. He definitely matches the title he was given as a vampire god.
The height difference between us is also quite insane but I guess that must be normal in this place. He isn’t a normal vampire anymore so it only makes sense for him to be that tall.
"No words?" He questions.
"I’m just not sure how to start yet," I respond while looking up at him.
"You activated my heart with your blood kid," He says with a calm expression on his face.
"That I did, What will happen now?" I ask while moving forward a few steps.
He pauses for a mont, probably considering the best course of action to follow here.
"Obviously that’ll have to be a discussion we have after I get to know you better," He answers with a smile.
"What do you an?" I question.
"Exactly what I said," He answers without hesitation.
So this vampire god wants to get to know better before talking with more about the heart... How strange. I’ll never understand why everyone wants to talk so much.
I guess it wouldn’t hurt to get to know him though, especially since there is a lot of knowledge he might possess. I’ll just have to go along with this so that I can get stronger and learn so stuff.
"I’m Dante. I am a vampire from the Nightreign family and I am currently on a path towards destroying the hunters. They’ve destroyed my family and have basically brought our kind to the brink of extinction," I introduce and explain a bit about myself with a soft tone.
He leans back in his throne and looks at for a few monts.
"I know all about the Nightreign family, They’ve been around for a long ti, maybe even before I was born. I can’t believe any of them are even dead with how strong your family really is," He responds with a bit of shock in his voice.
"I still don’t know who you are," I say before letting out a sigh.
Once again my family is being called out for strength, yet I don’t rember us ever really showing it off much. I’m starting to realize the secret to my bloodline with the scales I’ve had form before.
The dragon symbol is starting to make a lot more sense to .
We share blood with the dragons which is sothing I’d never really expect, ever. Dragons are already very powerful beings and I didn’t even think it would be possible for us to have a shared bloodline.
No one ever really told much about it growing up, especially not my mother. I would expect one of my parents to tell about it since it is a big deal.
Then again, I don’t think they ever expected us to use it.
"I’m Aziel. I was a normal vampire for many years until I stumbled upon an old relic that granted power beyond my comprehension. That relic broke and beca one with ," Aziel explains as he stares back at .
"What exactly was the relic?" I question with so curiosity in my voice.
He pulls out a sword that looks a lot like mine but it has red bursting out from the scales around the sword, it appears to have a gem inside of the hilt as well.
"The sword here beca a part of ," Aziel answers while holding the sword closely.
"Your sword looks a lot like mine, especially when my dragon blood kicks in," I say while looking at the sword.
"It makes sense considering it was a relic from a dragon. It gave a lot of strength to move forward, but at the end I couldn’t bring myself to use it against the humans. They don’t all deserve to die," Aziel responds with a bit of sadness in his voice.
"Why not? For centuries they’ve all wanted us dead, what’s it matter if we kill them?" I ask with a bit of frustration in my voice.
"We should be the ones to make a change, not follow the sa pattern. I think the hunters should be wiped out, but not all humans follow their beliefs," Aziel answers.
Ughhhh. I know he’s not wrong but I’m just pissed off. Humans took out everything on us for the longest ti and blad us for centuries.
We were always the monsters, no matter how much ti went by, how much we avoided feeding on them, everything was our fault still.
Also wouldn’t more hunters just eventually form? I’m not entirely sure I know what the best course of action is, other than wiping them out but maybe.
Taking care of the hunters first will buy us ti at the very least.
Aziel is right about us needing to bring a change about that is different... But then I also rember what they just did to Remi’s kingdom.
His people were hard because of the damn— Wait no, they were ordered through the hunters to attack.
It really does fall back to them every single ti when I think about it.
"The hunters are the biggest issue at the mont," I say with certainty.
"Wiping them out is better than wiping out all the humans. I’d recomnd handling the ones here first," Aziel replies in agreent.
"There’s more outside this continent?" I ask with a curious tone.
"Yes. I don’t have the info since I’ve been dead you could say, for quite a long ti. You’ll have to acquire the information sohow when you get to Lumiel," Aziel responds.
I knew wiping them out would never be that easy but at least we can give so relief here for the ti being. That’ll be enough to rebuild sothing with my kind.
We’d probably have to start out small when the ti cos, but that’ll be a problem to figure out down the road.
Strength cos first above all else.
